Your Crimes That Didn't Harm Anyone
Your Crimes That Didn't Harm Anyone
........................ Especially the one's you feel guilty aboutt .............. Mine: But set by an adult's behavior In college, sparkly, virginal etc we drove around Coventry, pre- Chistmas in a Tutor's re-conditioned WW2 lorry, as we sang Carols on the roof, the girls were on foot with buckets collecting coins- they were all tipped into a huge chest in the lorry.... the Tutor's brother, never seen before or after, scooped the chest and we were all bought a drink at a pub. "Expenses" they said. Following that..... we had a "Rag-Week"... collecting donations in the standard 'bottle-like' thing, and we had a wannabe student who raced around all the people going into the Fair & Concert. He was that good, he filled bottle after bottle. We had dozens of heavy filled bottles. They ended up in my place. Ray Charles was playing at the De Montfort in Leicester the next day..... a wet dream.... So my friend and I, who hardly got one bottle filled, bust open all the bottles.... visited a couple of banks to change copper for half-crowns etc. Saw Ray Charles .... TWICE .... both Performances My "wannabe student" friend never knew, and in an emotional 'goodbye' as he moved to Scotland, I nearly told him how we got to go to see Ray Charles ... I'm glad I didn't .. It was years past, I've always been a wimp I honestly can't remember the Charity or whatever the bottles were intended for.....I think it was for the local council to build a new "swimming baths"... i may be wrong Anyway.... that's my crime.... inspired by an adult |

I fought the law and the law won!
I drove around without my seat belt.
However, one day I wasn't so lucky. $100 out of my wallet. It isn't a good idea anyway. Wear the belt, you never know.

Being prosecuted for telling the interfering and trouble making mother of a close female friend, what I thought of her after she blatantly lied to me in order to obtain personal information about her 25 year old daughters private life . This person tried to suggest I had impregnated her daughter, who hadn't
aeven told her anything about whether or not she was pregnant to convince her despite myself not being privvy to something so personal and private to only that of her daughter. I had to reveal information about my own private life which was to reveal how I could no longer have children, which i'm very touchy about, and even despite hving this knowledge she still tried to maintain I was the alleged perpetrator, incidentally she had been told numerous times that her daughter and I were not having a sexual relationship as she had since got married to an older gentleman who also could no longer have children. Regardless of the information she had been told she went to her daughter and demanded an explanation by accusing her after making out, that I had told her that she was. Her daughter has stopped speaking to me, when I haven't said anything because I didnt actually know anything. When I sent a text to this horrible woman to remonstrate my disgust over her disgraceful behaviour she went to the Police, making out that she had been offended. Despite attempts by the local constabulary to deal with the matter by way of a slap on the wrist. This bitter woman insisted that I was prosecuted. As I had sent the text I had no option but to plead guilty, and despite this womans attempts to try and get me locked away, by telling a number of lies in her statement, the courts saw through her lies and fortunately all I got was a fine. The truth will come out eventually, but its bad when one is not allowed to defend ones innocence, and yet the actual rperpetrator is left free to do it again, which she will after the dust settles. One things for sure, karma will have its day.I hope I haven't in anyway offended anyone on the forum or broken any rules, it was an opportunity to tell my story to a wider audience as I wanted to get it off my chest. A big thank you to you all for taking the time and trouble to read this particular story. |

No harm done!
I ran a left-turn red arrow the other day.
It was late at night and no one was around. It should be legal to do so anyway. Just sayin'!

Shoplifting
My one and only move into larceny.
When I was 16, I was nuts about Suzanne Somers, and happened upon a magazine at the magazine section in the grocery store that said "Free poster of Suzanne Somers!" I didn't want to buy the magazine as it was one of those teen magazines geared towards girls--Tiger Beat, but I saw the poster in the middle and it was hanging limply from one staple. I slid my fingers in and removed the other staple, looked both ways and put the magazine under my shirt. What made it even more dangerous was that I was with my parents and had I been caught, not only would it have embarrassed them, but my Dad (rest his soul) would have beat the living crap out of me. As it was, I got away with it, unfolded it and hung it up in my wall, where it stayed up until I moved out in college. I've since lost my crush on Suzanne as she continued to refuse to leave her husband for me. |
