Totally agree.
The reason for most of this is that it comes from the States where they have become totally emansculated with being told what to watch, which news channels and newspapers to read and how to lead there lives so the only way to get back at life is to act out their control fantasies when they finally get a chance to be in charge. There are some European producers that made very sensual movies,one of them is Marc Dorcel. His movies are very 'beautiful' with stories and sensual lighting.
If you take a superstar like Katsumi,she does movies both in USA and in France. Her USA-movies are very hard with double penetration and that thing,but her European movies are very sensual,with stories good lighting and so.

i agree with the overall sentiment of this thread, but that statement is ludicrous.

although i have to agree with a few of the sentiments here..

i don't completely think that there aren't current movies
that try.....pirates xxx was a huge budget, decent film..porn wars, etc.

and there's a lot of stuff from blake andrews, and viv thomas
etc..

i admit some of this retro porn is decent (by the way, i'm over 40,
and have never seen stuff pre-90's before)... but it gets very
tiring watching the lame plots/dialogues/and cheap sets....

the women are fine though....so i guess loops are more interesting to me..

i guess different people want different things from their movies:

As for my two cents worth....I used to love the way some of the "Golden Age" stars could actually act. Lisa DeLeeuw, Kay Parker, Honey Wilder, Erik Edwards....the list goes on. And I don't know about any of you, but very seldom in my life as a good looking woman ever walked into the room I was in and said "Lets Fuck" well...ok, back when I paid for it in the 70's maybe...grin....I've seen a woman's equipent often enough, I've even seen a man's (in the mirror)... I sure don't want a gynochologists view of either....About the only "new" porn I watch anymore is from Girlfriends Films..
