Lol. Incredible to think that with even a body as trim as that. She couldn't get off the rear of the DTM.

I tell you what? I'm very impressed at how trim she is. I love the second pic. Good on you Toto!

Let's hope the new season won't be a one team show, althought I'm pretty sure it will be...

Interesting that of all the top running teams, the only one not to run any laps on the fastest tyre were Mercedes. 'Hypersoft' tyres were making the others all look faster by lap times than perhaps they were in reality. Happy to see that though lacking in laps, McLaren seemed to be pulling themselves together more this off season than for the preceding few?

Not really a remarkable day for me this year. For fp3, I stood at the 150m to T3, like I normally do. It was good, but not the thrill I normally get standing there. The wet track meant they were braking 120-140 from a slower speed, where normally they'd steam in and brake at the 80-90m. Because it was wet, there wasn't a lot of running.
I'd moved to t9-10 for qualifying. The day dragged out by then and I had enough. I was pissed at the Bottas crash. Hamilton's lap was good, but not really notable seeing live. It was just another flying lap. Fwiw. The interesting visual was back at T3. Watching the GT race when the rain was at it heaviest. You'd see the leading Merc of Craig Baird making its way down from T2 with a huge rooster tail of spray. I must've been 5-6 metres high, it was right up there. Then with the first supercars race of the day. All of them close together, they spray would come up and stay there. You wouldn't have been able to see more than 100m. So that's my day at the GP for this year. |

A new season and the same boring stuff (Lewis on pole) is starting again.
