When I was in rental accommodation at Uni, I shared a house with 2 other lads and 2 other girls.

Back in the early 90's after a night out, myself, my ex wife, her friend Jane and another couple that we were friendly with went back to our place for a few more drinks. The other guys girlfriend started to play some records (that's how long ago this happened!) when she came across black velvet by Alanah Miles. I live an old European apartment. Three bedrooms. One is my office. Because the building is long and narrow the back (guest) bedroom has a door a big glass panel to let light into the center of the flat. For that reason also, I haven't gotten curtains for the door because the hall would be pitch dark.

Had my wife's friend visit from the U.S. and told her we hadn't gotten any curtains yet but we could rig a blanket or something and she said don't worry about, probably because she saw it's possible to be unseen in the room just by moving to one side.
