Another victim of so called 'prescription drugs'? Such a waste, great body and good actress. Will be missed.

She was one of my favourite actresses. I'm going to miss not seeing any more of her work.

So young, and so beautiful. Such a waste of sheer beauty. London, Dec 23 (IANS) - As many as 10 prescription drugs were found in late actress Brittany Murphy’s bedroom. Thesun.co.uk reported that empty bottles of pills to treat depression and anxiety were found on her bedside table. Murphy died Sunday of a heart attack in her Los Angeles. She was reportedly taking prescription drugs for “flu-like” symptoms. A coroner’s office official revealed that pills in the stash were for pain relief, diabetes, anti-seizure, preventing heart attacks, and to treat bi-polar disorder. Simon Monjack, who wed Brittany in 2007, said the star suffered from mitral valve prolapse, a heart murmur that can cause tiredness, dizziness and irregular heartbeats. But he said that it was not life-threatening and did not need medication. A post mortem was done by the LA County Coroner Monday, but toxicology reports will be revealed after six weeks.

R.I.P Brittany. Such a waste and again the curse of Hollywood strikes.
Her husband needs a good kicking for allowing her to take such a concoction of drugs.....how the hell did he even think they were helping?? Here's hoping your'e in a better place. Regards D |

Hollywood actress Brittany Murphy will be put to rest after a private ceremony in Los Angeles on Christmas eve. But her estranged father will not be among those saying their final adieus.
Angelo Bertolotti, Murphy's father has not been invited to the funeral, which will take place at the exclusive Forest Lawn Memorial Park in the Hollywood Hills, five days after her untimely death left Hollywood reeling, reported E! Online. The 83-year-old hadn't spoken to the Uptown Girls star for more than a year and had never met her husband, Simon Monjack. He said he had no desire to attend the funeral. 'If I wanted to go, I would go, but I don't want to see her that way. She was flawless to me. She was a little bright child. I have only good memories about her. She's a memory to me now,' said Bertolotti of his daughter, who died at the age of 32. Murphy's body has already been transported to Forest Lawn in anticipation of the burial. The funeral and burial service are said to be strictly private. There is no word yet on who will attend or whether a public memorial will be in the works.
