Best/Worst Album, CD covers

Sitting in the car today, I was scrolling through the iPod for something too listen too, I made my selection purely on the fact I love the album cover for The Rolling Stones album

Voodoo Lounge,
A great album, but an equally cool cover

So, Fav's ? Hated ones ? Ever even bought a recording purely because the cover caught your eye ?

I bought this maxi vinyl just because of the cover. I love the old stuff of Megadeth

I can't think of any album that sums up the spirit of rock better than this one. A majestic photo.

I can't help but laugh when I see this album artwork, if you think it looks a bit odd wait to you hear it, mental and funky as fuck!

One of the best in my opinion is, Iron Maiden's Somewhere In Time!...So much detail in there!

And, the back of the cover is even better!, Unfortunately, I don't have a good high raise pic of it right now.

Responsible not only for the 2 perfectly suited classic Grateful Dead covers, Aoxomoxoa & American Beauty (which can also be read as 'American Reality), the elegantly simple first Quicksilver Messenger Service, & the back of Steppenwolf's 'Monster', but for some of the psychedelic era's finest posters & comic art. I'd buy any album he did the cover for, regardless of who the artist was...

Generally vile album, but with that wonderful laminated cover that makes the image change as you move it... a technique we'd only seen on bubble-gum card/crackerjack prizes before this.
