It seems to me that there were once two separate request threads not linked to the MB post. I ditched the newer one and moved the MB post to the top of the other. -Pepper II

honestly, as long as Rubi just had this good idea but obviously no intentions at all to work on it, it's a bit far fetched to honor this subsection with a shortcut for all to use..

"pending" is something which usually happens after a reasonable period of time. but still not one thread has made it. i ask myself how exfarmer, sweatyhat, icu or me have managed it to move up to 20 or more threads each month without the need of an extra preparation subforum. not that i blame anyone for having no time, but i don't see any logic behind it, if it's just another location to store some stuff into, and if it's just that, you can also use the main MIR to keep solved threads, like the zillion others which aren't cleaned anymore.

Rubinski had the idea to create this section and it was a good idea so I implemented it. But it is not his responsibility to cast these threads into proper shape to be moved; it is mine. There is a purpose of having these here and not leaving them in the main section. In the past some request threads were moved to the model content sections more or less intact so they still look like a model id request thread. The PMT acts as our workshop to transform these into proper model threads by removing the chaff and quoting in material from other sections which may only have been alluded to. In some cases our regulars have also added additional material which is really not appropriate in the original request threads.

In fact several of these threads have been moved to the content sections. Kaeli Daniels, Lilly Princess, Jennifer Lynn, Katerina Valentova, and Pia Fris. These are the ones I could remember offhand

I may have misunderstood but I think this box post has two (#2) add-on threads, but only one is back-linked from the box post itself? There are links within the add-on threads.

Do the add-ons need to be kept separate or might they be better merged?

I have added a second link to the 2010 MB post, and have created a back link in the 2013 MIR; changing the title to [mystery - additional material].

Will leave it to Pepper II, to figure out how to deal with a possible "merge', and/or a possible "solve".

There's enough material to warrant a model thread, I think so she's off to the PMT at some point. I'll take care of all the merging and culling there.

Yes, indeed. In this case I've removed the older MB post since the original inquiry was by a member who has since been banned. In addition I've added the source set of his request to the follow-up thread for effCup's MB post.
