Demsal8, I hope your convention goes well.
Heres a pic which I thought might be interesting, the Girl is Nike Clarke, I know you're snowed under with work so do this pic if you like stripes, if not then continue your good work with the other pics you've got. Quote:

Over the rainbow ... again
@nopar king - I did some stuff on your pict of Janet Baker. I'm cutting it short because I'm trying to get as much done before I leave as possible.
First row, 1) original cleaned up, 2) with girl colored, 3) with contrast on the background reduced significantly, and 4) with background colored. There is a subtle difference between 1 and 2. There were portions of the fleece she is on which protruded into the hip and breast areas. I removed the fleece and painted in those portions of the body so she wouldn't look distorted when I started cutting her away from the background. The arm and hand however is beyond a quick adjustment, so I left them alone. Also took out a tuft of hair under her left ear to simplify the separation. Dammit! This is the second attempt I've made to set up this message, and each time the image upload screwed it up. In the first, I attempted to download all four images in the first row together. Three came through fine, but the fourth hung up and I couldn't get any more picts into the message. NOW, after rekeying all that stuff above for the second time, I'm ready to get the images in (one at a time now) but I can't find any browser button to uplaod the picts. The last tme I created images in a message for DEB JORDAN FAN, I had a similar problem when, again, the last image in a set hung up. Would someone who knows how to complain about this junk, please call the help desk (or whatever) and see if they can fix this thing. Meanwhile your stuff is going to wait and I'll just do some more coloring. Thanks, demsal8

Over the rainbow?
@nopar king - I did some stuff on your pict of Janet Baker. I'm cutting it short because I'm trying to get as much done before I leave as possible.
First row, 1) original cleaned up, 2) with girl colored, 3) with contrast on the background reduced significantly, and 4) with background colored. There is a subtle difference between 1 and 2. The arm and hand however is beyond a quick adjustment, so I left them alone. Also took out a tuft of hair under her left ear to simplify the separation. (Loading picts one by one) Now, in the second row, 1) looks like the last photo above, but coloring is taken out of realistic and 'sprayed' on the picture, 2) new background with over and under binary screen (notice arm is cut off), and finally a bullseye yellow laid on top of a two-tone purple background. Enjoy! @araken - you're next. Hope to finish them before I leave.

Delivery for Mr araken ...
@araken - I've got the first one done. Took a long time due to the level of detail in the photo. The second seems to be about the same difficulty, so I don't believe it will be done today. I'm delivering the first for your viewing pleasure and will send the second when it is done.
p.s. This is photo number 60 for me in just 25 days on this site. EVERYBODY - I'm leaving for my vacation tomorrow morning and expect to be out of communications for three days from right now (may be a little longer). The amount of work I can produce for the next two weeks will be reduced, but I don't know exactly how much. Y'all have a good time, see ya' later. demsal8

Birds and stripes forever ...
@nopar king - taking a break in my travel and had some time to kill. I was thinging about the Nike Clark picture and decided I could figure out a better way to do all those stripes than what I had done before. Turns out it works! My idea was to mask off the outfit and treat it the same way I have been treating backgrounds. With the outfit on a plate by itself, I could convert to any of the primary colors, adjust the color opposite (that's hard to explain) so it looked good, reduce the saturation of the color, and have a good looking picture. I tested it out just on the outfit as in image 2. Looked pretty good. So I colored the girl in image 3, then colored the background in image 4. Still looking good.
NOW, suddenly I have a slightly different situation than I had where I was coloring the backgrounds quickly. Only here, I can change the color of the OUTFIT as quick as I used to changed backgrounds. So, 1) change the color, 2) change the color, and 3) change the color. With a little thought and some different manipulations, I was able to convert to a non primary color as in pict 4. Pull Greenman's chain, see what he says. I'm going to bed.

The girl of your dreams
@araken - the second one is done, I hope to your satisfaction. Just curious, Ave de Tivoli? Is that a University I see to the south?
@DEB JORDAN FAN - Need some more if you have them. What I've got won't last for a day.

Three for the road ...
@mynxfan - your three are done. I thought blood red was a good background for Mistress Domenica to tint her toys. And, as I seem to remember it, our illustrious president (Clinton) had more than one toy. Actually, seems like kind of a large number of toys, including a notable Ms. Lewinski.
@DEB JORDAN FAN - nothing else in the queue, you're next. Based on my schedule here, it might be as much as 36 hours. Thank you for your patience. @nopar king - put the set of Nike Clarke pictures on her thread in case you're interested.
