Interesting that this film C.O.B. was the first to show full breasts-not C.O.Camping where you only got a brief shot of Barbara Windsor's left tit. However in C.O.Camping I think its the first time you saw nudes-remember the film that they go to see in the cinema that gives Sid and Bernard the idea of camping. As mentioned elsewhere there was that sequence in C.O. England-quite simply awful, where the girls appear topless.

Its very good but the sound it completely out of sync which is a little odd like one of those old dubbed Kung Fu movies when the sound doesn't match the action for seconds at a time. I also think that it could be edited with just her stripping and using the original music too. I might have a go myself at some point. Otherwise an excellent find and strangely that woman is sexier than I remember.

Ben Elton is very much up his own arse and one of the UNfunniest twats around (I also had the misforture to see him live doing stand-up once), but yes - he can be a top-notch comedy *writer* when he puts his mind to it.

Russel Brand is a complete knob-end as well, besides looking like the bastard child of Amy Winehouse and Captain Jack Sparrow. But somehow I could see him pulling it off in a Carry On.

Rowan Atkinson would be good also. Any maybe Peter Kay as the new Terry Scott? Ricky Gervais? Hmmm dunno about him. But anyway, I could see him turning it down as being "beneath" him or some such bollocks, the pretentious cunt.

The Hospitality girls according to a Carry On book I have are:
Valerie Leon, Carmen Dene, June Cooper, Josephine Blain, Vicki Murden, Karen Young, Angie Grant and Sue Vaughan.

Angie and Karen both also appeared in Camel as harem girls.

I will not disaree entirely as to why Leslie didn't appear in more Carry On's the money paid wasn't great although in fact he got £720 for Nurse, £1000 for Teacher and £1200 for Constable not bad for six weeks work in the late 50's early 60's. He in fact also worked for Peter Rogers on Raising The Wind the year after Constable. The Carry On's were very much an ensemble cast no star above the title and Leslie was now being offered star billing in flims like Crooks Anonymous and In the Doghouse. So perhaps that's why he did no more Carry On's.
