Since today afternoon (CET+1) no access to ImageVenue site.

Stored images displayed at VEF without any troubles.

Hello everyone, we are expiring some hosting issues, we are working on resolving them asap, we are aware of images are being "slow" or "down", all your images are safe. and we will update this thread with news when issue will be resolved.

P.S: We disabled upload in order not to get broken images or so, it will be restored when all issues are resolved.

At some of my posts images stored at ImageVenue 'disappear'. (If there is more than 1 image at a post not all 'disappear'.) Edit post and switch to text modus shows image URL's (BBCode) are still stored.

Copy & paste of such URL's to empty post shows at preview same behaviour: they aren't displayed.

Only manner to 're-activate' is new upload, remove old URL, and insert new image URL by copy & paste from ImageVenue host.

Btw: At posting image URL at VEF all strange and hidden characters at copy & paste are removed (of course image is displayed after final post store).

Anybody with same troubles?

Dont use imagbam. everytime I try to download a pic that is on imagebam I get malware that says I need to update my software and I cant X-out of it and must restart my computer. ANY site that you cant X-out of is MALWARE! And whoever wrote it should have their hands cut off so they cant ever use a computer again.

I've been using imagebam for a while now, but I've considered what other options are out there, given that they sometimes result in unwanted crap on my Macintosh.

No offense gents, but it sounds like you both need an extra layer of protection on your computers. Browser add ons/extensions that will block pop-ups, and/or java scripts from running work beautifully, and there are a bunch of them out there. I can't recommend any for your Mac Amateur as I've never used one, but nevada if you're using Firefox, give NoScript a try. It works like a charm.
