Ok so, I'm french, like xyzde69 seems to be also (a guy that can translate one of the most famous Dieudo's sketch in english makes me wonder...).

Seriously here the muslims haven't been a big problems until the nationalists, some of them neo-nazis, like Jean-Marie Le Pen started to bash them because of the economic crisis in the 70's.

We had some issues in the 90's, following the 1st war in Irak (Desert Shield), when ministry of defence Jean-Pierre Chevènement resigned because he was against interventionism there.

the problems are only when France makes 2 big mistakes:
1- getting back in NATO
2- following the US idiot policies on wars in Irak and Afghanistan.

Each time we follow those idiot US policies, France have problems.

Oh, and about religion: it's a fact that, of course, ALL religions are bullshits (exactly like Capitalism and Communism !)

And the reason why western countries keep on doing bullshit there:
- oil
- uranium
- gold
- diamonds
- exotic woods
- deforestation for palm oil (funny enough, the biggest issues for palm oil are... in Indonesia !)
- and the list could go on and on and on...

As long as the capitalists western countries will still consider middle east and africa as their property, the issues will never be solved.

ALL the problems of modern humanity resides here. They kill us because Capitalism kill them.

About the hijab and other muslim headscarf: only one "big deal" in 1989, the Creil high school girls (suburbs of Paris), then the first plan to make a law: Bernard Stasi (that name ...) in... 2003 after the US invaded Irak... again.

Killed by whom, where?

Islamic State, the Taliban, al Qaeda have all been murderous, but they're quite far down the league tables in the making corpses business.

In Syria and Afghanistan, Nigeria and perhaps Yemen, you could ascribe a lot of deaths to them-- but these are more on the order of civil war than "terrorism".

In terms of truly "terrorist" fatalities, that is attacks on civilians without a military purpose, perhaps 10-20,000?

In terms of civilian casualties in the West, there's roughly 3,000 fatalities on 9/11, and perhaps 2,000 since then.

I think you need to reconsider this argument, old boy.

Iraqis, from all communities be it Christian, Muslim or Jewish saw Westerners dressed as Arabs. They know this since the "attackers" were speaking with Eastern European accents. Just because it is not on the BBC "not in the public good" means it is so utterly true.

In your previous post you mentioned "American & British Black water clones". There is a difference between that and "attackers" with "Eastern European" accents dressed as Arabs. A lot of bad people came to Syria and Iraq from Chechnia and thereabouts, both as mercenaries to earn pay and as fugitives from justice who will have Russian forces waiting to have a chat with them whenever they return.

The 'guns for pay', not matter what part of the world will get their just desserts. That will bring order to the world as karma will be just.

There was gunfire between these militants and Israeli forces all around the manger, and the monks and the congregation were made hostages. It was, of course, a sacrilege and a gross affront to Christians all over the world. What would have happened had anything remotely like this been done in Mecca I dare not think; but as far as I know there was no act of reprisal by any Christians anywhere, because that is not what Jesus would have done, you see.

At the time (May 2002), I saw one Palestinian Christian interviewed by the BBC and who commented grimly that prior to that particular Israeli invasion of the West Bank the Islamist militants had taken over by force, the official Palestinian authorities had no control and law and order had broken down. The Israeli operation was basically to sweep out a nest of vipers which was too close to their heartland. The Palestinian Christians were particular targets of the Islamist militants, who "took anything they wanted"; I remember that phrase well, because I know exactly what he was not saying. What happens now to the Yazidi women is only part of a consistent pattern with these people, who are (I must be frank) the lowest of the low.

Ha, ha, ha the BBC. More bull shit from the example of the worst on the planet. It has supported every attack and genocide on the planet. It does not in any form represent the UK people.
I don't know what planet the "report" was formulated on, but Semites, be it Christian, Jewish or Muslim would never attack Bethlehem. The Jesus people, Palestinians, are never going going to attack their own people in that manner you describe . Nobody will believe that zionists will protect Christian or any real faiths place of worship. They have openly slaughtered pregnant women to elderly.

I am very reluctant to post in any thread I started as it can look like an attempt to revive it.
In this case I think the recent events warrant such a post.
There seems to be a lack of acknowledgement of what is happening in Sri Lanka and especially in Indonesia where Muslims get minority Christian officials sentenced to 2 years in jail for saying that the Koran does not say Muslims must vote for other Muslims. Plus all the Christian church attacks by wives with their children that have happened over time.

https://www.nytimes.com/2019/04/21/w...explosion.html

https://www.indonesia-investments.co...islam/item245?

There are a lot more reports out there but this is a start.

There's surprisingly little information about the terrorists for now (usually terrorist groups can't wait to claim attacks), and while no one would be surprised if it were islamic fanatics, keep in mind that Sri Lanka has a history with the Tamil Tigers.

Wait and see, i guess?
