I came here as a fan of "vintage erotica" some years ago. (I had to re-register at one point as my original username became unusable for some reason). I found the forum to be an invaluable resource.

I have only relatively recently got involved in the general discussion threads and have found the mix of topics, the wealth of information combined with just the right level of humour suits my taste.

I have always been impressed by one factor...There are opinions expressed from all over the world and in such cases there are the usual disagreements but everyone seems to remain friendly. Whilst folks may not agree, they certainly respect the opinions of others and keep things on a civil footing.

I have read many posts where one member has "taken the mickey" out of another and have seen very few examples of any offence being taken. Where it has happened, a simple apology seems to sort it out. Being able to share the banter in this way marks this forum as a special place. A forum for "grown ups"!

It is so refreshing to see it these days. Long may it continue.

Yes-there were extensive commemoration ceremonies in various locations in NZ yesterday-and of course in Belgium.
