'Co-star' Peter Wilson talks exclusively about that photoshoot with Lady Heather Mills-McCartney... and pictures a picture of a sexually aggressive, controlling, foul-mouthed manipulator.

Until now, Lady Heather Mills-McCartney has been lucky. In terms of media sway and public adulation, Sir Paul McCartney has considerable clout.

Throughout their marriage Heather was shielded from the less pleasant elements of her past, not only by the might of his millions but, to some extent at least, by the enduring affection in which Sir Paul is held and his stubborn refusal to believe the more colourful rumours relating to his bride's history.

But now even Sir Paul must question whether Heather's version of her life - a hard-luck tale of success against the odds - has received more than a little gloss in her retelling.

For last week, one of the more shocking and lurid instalments in the Mills-McCartney drama emerged when pictures of a young, virtually naked Heather Mills appeared in The Sun newspaper.

The pictures, part of a series taken for a 112-page German book Die Freuden Der Liebe (The Joys Of Love) published in 1988, show Heather and a half-naked man in a variety of lurid poses.

Heather has attempted to dress up this latest embarrassment as an educational exercise - a 'lovers' guide to caring relationships'. An early foray into humanitarian work, then, for the woman who has compared herself to Princess Diana.

Not according to Peter Wilson, Heather's 'co-star' on the tawdry shoot. Speaking exclusively to The Mail on Sunday from his home on the outskirts of Palma, Mallorca, Wilson has given his own version of that now notorious shoot.

The events he describes provide a devastating insight into both that seedy photographic environment and the character of the woman who is now embroiled in Britain's highest profile divorce.

Wilson dismisses Heather's assertions that the shoot was ' educational' as 'laughable'.

Asked what one might learn from the book in question, Wilson says: "Absolutely nothing."

Heather, he says, appeared to have no qualms, 'no boundaries'

Instead he describes it as "cheap, titillating and sleazy", and recalls Heather as "sexually aggressive, controlling, dominating and manipulative".

The events he remembers are far removed from the screaming redtop headlines of 'hardcore porn'.

But the picture that emerges is equally distant from the world with which Heather, as Lady McCartney and mother to Sir Paul's two-year-old daughter Beatrice, wishes to be associated.

According to Wilson, then a male model and aspiring actor, his agent had indeed presented the job as a photoshoot for an 'educational sex book'. But he says that from the moment he was shown the 'wardrobe' - whipped cream, strawberries, edible thongs and sex toys - the reality became clear.

When he expressed his doubts to Heather, he says she told him to "get with the programme" and that she "needed the money". They were paid about £150 a day. Heather, he says, appeared to have no qualms, "no boundaries".

Indeed she embraced the shoot with such enthusiasm that Wilson drew the conclusion that "she had absolutely done this before".

Wilson, by contrast, claims it is the most explicit job he has ever done.

It began early in the morning and lasted late into the evening. Wilson recalls how he and Heather simulated sex, rubbed baby oil on each other and acted out scenes with sex toys.

Always, he said, Heather urged him on, telling him to relax, telling him it was "easy" and not to worry, she would "take care" of him.

At one point she grabbed the back of his head and pulled him down on her. Still, it was not, Wilson insists, pornography - a word for which his definition is at best vague. But he says that amid the "touching and teasing and flirting and behind the scenes... a line was absolutely crossed'.

'I'd been with a lot of girls, but I'd never encountered anything like her'

Indeed Wilson, now 48, claims to have been left so "intimidated" by Heather's sexual confidence that, having given her his phone number, he had second thoughts and took it back before the shoot ended.

Two decades later, he claims she has continued to intimidate. In the past week, he has received letters from her lawyers threatening him with court action should he speak out about his experiences with her.

"She was damaged goods," he says. "By the end of the day I knew her body from every angle and I knew that she was trouble with a capital T. It started out as fun, flirting and innuendo but by the end of the day it was too much. It was overwhelming and sleazy.

"I thought I was a bit of a Jack the Lad at the time," Wilson admits. "I was older than her, I'd been about, I'd been with a lot of girls, but I'd never encountered anything like her. Normally a girl always shows a fragile side, whether it's physical or emotional. But she was just standing there naked, unashamed and unabashed. I've never seen anything like that.

"She was absolutely confident and in the beginning it was fun, but as the day wore on it became less fun. It just became sleazy. I didn't like it. As [the shoot] became more explicit she wasn't shying away from it. There was never any objection from her. It was just like, 'Next shot.'

In the down time between shots, when he and Heather - the only two models - relaxed in a small dressing room and chatted, Wilson says that she touched on her childhood. It was, he says, in stark contrast with his own.

His father was a successful businessman in Liverpool, and Wilson, one of four children, had been a boarder at the respected Liverpool College. He had opportunities and, if anything, squandered them in pursuit of a career in modelling and acting that never took off.

Heather, in contrast, viewed herself as a 'survivor' and on her own. He says: "She said she'd had a bad childhood but she didn't want to talk about it too much. She was like, 'It's OK for you, but I've had a tough life and therefore what I do, I do. Don't question me.'"

A decade older than her, Wilson had already experienced the seedier side of the modelling and acting industry, having spent three years in Los Angeles trying to 'make it'.

'John's the one with all the talent and Paul's the window dressing'

His high point was a role in an NBC remake of Casablanca, in which he played a British fighter pilot.

He says: "I wasn't prepared to do what you had to do to get on there. I thought I was in a position to give Heather some advice. I said, 'Be careful what you do in order to make it because it always comes back to haunt you.'

"And she said, 'As long as it gets me to where I want to go, it'll be worth it. I'm not going to be like all the other girls. God's given me certain talents, some of which you can see, and that's what's going to get me where I want to go.'

"I understood that to mean riches and fame, and the way she said it, I didn't doubt her at all. I look like an idiot for saying that now because it has come back to haunt me also."

Ironically, while the 18-year-old Heather seemed impressed by money and driven by a ruthless ambition, she appeared less than impressed by the man who would one day become her husband.

"I'm from Liverpool," Wilson explains. "I always say the same thing when I tell people where I'm from - how with Liverpool everybody thinks of two things: The Beatles or football.

"And she said, 'Everyone knows John's the one with all the talent and Paul's the window dressing.'"

Eighteen years later, a much cited cause of friction between Heather and Sir Paul has been her resentment and incomprehension of the adulation received by her husband.

But even at 18, Wilson says, Heather expressed a fondness for older men - if only for practical and monetary reasons. "She said older men could protect her and give her what she needed," he recalls. "She said young men only had what was between their legs and nothing between their ears."

At the time of the shoot, Wilson drove a Mercedes. "I remember the car keys fell on the floor," he says. "She picked them up and popped them down her knickers, which were all she was wearing. I joked it was OK because I had a spare pair. I also had a gold necklace that was my dad's.

"She said, 'That's a nice chain.' I was taking it off and when I went to put it down she picked it up. She was just wearing a towel and she went to put it on and the towel just slipped right down and she was stark naked.

Instead of saying, 'Oops,' she was like, 'What do you think?,' I sort of said, 'Well, it looks good on you.' And she said something to the effect of, 'I'd look good on you, too.' It was flirty and I thought, 'We'll have some fun here.'"

Later, as they posed for a shot of Wilson pushing a cream-covered strawberry into Heather's mouth, "a bit of the cream fell on to her breast and she said, 'Well, are you going to be a gentleman and lick it off?' So I did and she said something like, 'What about the other one?' So I got more cream and did that, too."

Wilson is anxious to stress that this smutty talk and intimacy was not for the cameras, not under direction, but purely between him and Heather. And the scenes he describes - a small studio, the harsh lighting and a mechanical approach to each shot - are the antithesis of erotica.

'When she opened her mouth, all I could see was Jimmy Nail's face'

Yet still, after all these years, the suggestion that seems to irk him most is that he did not sleep with her because she turned him down.

In the same way that he admits initially trying to impress Heather with his flash car, his jewellery and what he thought passed for worldliness, to this day he repeatedly mentions the fact that footballer-turned-manager Graham Souness was once his brother-in-law (Souness's first wife was Wilson's sister, Danielle).

Illuminating the true nature of the seedy world which he and Heather witnessed, he says: "It was usual for a day's modelling to end with me going out with the girl, taking her for a meal, to a club and then having sex. But for the last couple of hours of that shoot all I could see when she opened her mouth was Jimmy Nail's face - Auf Wiedersehen, Pet was on telly at the time.

"I don't know if it was her accent or her language - she was really foul mouthed - but, believe me, by the end of the day I would have rather gone out with Jimmy Nail than her."

Wilson, who has lived in Mallorca for ten years and now describes himself as a property developer, claims to be 'bewildered' by the events of the past week.

"My cousin called me on Monday, which happened to be my birthday, saying that I was all over the front of The Sun. I thought it was a joke. I saw the paper on Monday afternoon and I was embarrassed because I looked so ugly."

Until that moment, Wilson insists he had never realised that the brassy blonde who joined him on that seedy shoot and the groomed multi-millionairess Lady Mills-McCartney were one and the same person.

Today he admits that he is "dumbfounded" that Sir Paul, "surrounded by the best people money can buy", should have fallen for Heather's persuasive charms.

"She knew," he says, "exactly what to say to a man to make him feel good and to build his confidence.

"I think I had a lucky escape. I didn't look back at the end of that day. I just got out of there as fast as I could.

"Trust me, it had been a long day. I'd gone full circle that day - like watching a flower bud and grow and then bloom and wilt. Or like when somebody tells you every scene of a film that you wanted to see. By the end of it you don't want to see it any more. You don't need to see the film.

"Well, I'd seen everything she had to offer and, by the end of it, I didn't want it."

In her evidence, Heather Mills claimed that PR consultant Max Clifford had contacted her in 1999 and threatened to "destroy" her if she did not let him represent her as Paul McCartney's new girlfriend. When she turned him down, she claims that he then arranged for various people "to sell lies about me for money".



Later that same day, Clifford himself denied the accusations, stating that they were "100% untrue without any truth foundation at all" and that there was a lot that he could say about Heather Mills, but wouldn't.

Right after that statement by Clifford, Lord Justice Leveson appeared to be wondering which one of them he should charge with perjury!

Been right through the thread again and these haven't been
previously posted. Not particularly exciting or explicit but
they are different so....

The first one I believe is the cover of " Die Feuden der Liebe " and
according to other web reports there are 112!!......images of that
shoot so and although someone must have a copy....hopefully a
VEF member ?....I'll keep looking until I find one.
