Levy was playing the 'long game' when villa were desparate for up-front dosh and now they've sold out to 2 BILLIONAIRES...they can outlast Levy. Villa wanted £40 mill for Grealish...who comes with serious baggage and a physcopathic interferring parent. ... Levy was rumoured to be nearer £15 mill plus add-ons.... All this stuff without any publicly prounced facts Except... Liverpool did publicly state that they had NO INTEREST and made NO OFFERS for Grealish. An earlier Moxley/Nursey rumour to get an auction going. Look at Grealish... OK ?..... he's fast, dribbles and falls over when inviting tackles at appropriate places. Villa scored most of their goals from those 'Set-Pieces' to get themselves into the play-offs. Grealish scored about 3 all told. If you've watched villa... like I have (cheering the oppo )...you'll notice that PLAN. Work all week on 'Set-Pieces' .... jeez how many did we see in the World Cup ? Grealish's value is basicaly falling over at agreed places. He has little or no experience / value in the Prem. Why on Earth do Spurs need him ? Spurs do NOT need him. And I hope Levy realises that, especially as Villa are now 'Cock-A-Hoop' on getting £40 million for him..... AND... all of that cr@p and rumour. is based on 2 National Journos...Moxley/ Nursey And we all get agitated...some Spurs fans even attack Levy for not paying £40 million for a non-Prem player.... jeez..... I don't like Levy but I expect he has a brain. |

Think championship wingers moving too early
- Wilfried Zaha 15mil from Crystal Palace to Man U eventually back to Crystal Palace to re-start career https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wilfri...80%9315_season He was a key reason why CP gained promotion Now the 25 year old is back on the radar maybe but the prices are seriously inflated thanks to the Neymar bad joke transfer. https://www.express.co.uk/sport/foot...Crystal-Palace PS Remembering Spurs plucked Deli Alli from obscurity for 5mil after the 4-0 demolition job on Man U A rare success story from the lower divisions I would have thought? Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water Villa raises its head again.
Bruce is to meet with the owners tomorrow and the rumour mill gathers speed as a certain Mr T. Henry has apparently agreed verbally to take charge of the club, almost causing Bruce to choke on his coffee when asked the question yesterday. It would also appear, regardless of the new large suit cases full of cash, Grealish is likely to be on the move to a Premier League club. |

The WC thread has died off. So I'll ask the French contingent here...
Which team is better, 98 or 18? |

Another Championship side put to the sword as we annihilate Villa 3-1 to win the Champion of champions trophy or was that just another crockery set.
Ipswich away at the weekend as playing at home has been cancelled due to two athletic meets, lets hope the seats are back in place on the 18th for the visit of Bournemouth. Also at the estate that day is a musical event running from midday to midnight, with 25000 expected , based on ticket sales, using the train station is going to be fun. |

SALAH IS BACK... SO ARE THE HAMMERS
Been away... caught a blooming virus and it took me all one and a bit days to
to clear it. SAFE MODE > > System Restore >> click the "Earlier System Restore" button that is hidden. W7 Back on footie. Earlier...When me PC was clean, I watched the Villa v Hammers Intercontinental Cup... pretty late on You Tube.. . the full match is still there... these are highlights ~ Hammers played in Blue https://www.whufc.com/news/articles/...est-ham-united As a result of that I only realised Man City v Liverpool was still going on.... I came onto that thread just after Sahah equalised on his late intoduction. AND Joe Hart on his late introduction made another bloomer. Man Cty 1-2 Liverpool (Pen to Liverpool at 90+4 minutes) However, as I'm, glad to see Sahah back and bloooming... What about the Hammers Steve Bruce was re-confirmed as Manager at Villa and T Henry...is gone...{ That Gosssip about Henry mainly created by 2 National Journos...Moxley and Nursey.... hours before the 'Inter-Universe-Continetal-Cup'... played at Wallsll's Bescot Stadia........ ... where Hammer's fans out-seated the villa fans by about 5-1... and thats a villa 'local team' Moxley and Nursey now silent on Twittles... I know it was villa.... BUT.... WHU players seem to be able to trap a ball...NOW WHU players seem to able to cross-field passes to their own side...NOW WHU players can actually ... RUN..... I know it was against an unhappy villa side... ...more.... But.... I will go with this performance. The Hammers will be good......this season.... Trust Me... I'm a Blues / Lens fan.... we don't give up Well Lens fans might...Blues KRO...Oh Dear....we're thick.... Last edited by Meini Again; July 27th, 2018 at 03:14 AM.. |
