I don't recall saying this. Because I spent about a month in the land down under. Sydney- Melbourne- Alice Springs- Uluru- Cairns- Daintree Rain Forest, and a lovely three days in the Whitsunday Islands. Ate kangaroo, petted wombats, scuba dove on the Great Barrier Reef (twice!), and drank a lot of great Aussie wine.

Would love to go back, but it's so damn far from the Eastern US.
