ICQ number

I have a problem with a hoster and they answered my questions this way :

Contact us via ICQ Number (followed by a 9-digit number).

How do we do that?

Don't know about ICQ? I know most people don't use it anymore, but it's been around longer than MSN and it was THE thing back then.

Anyways, you've got to register an account at icq.com (it's free) and then either install one of their versions or use the web-based service which is based on Flash and doesn't require to install anything.
From there, it's pretty much the same way as MSN: to contact people, you add them to your list.

I know filesonic were big on icq messages
assume it reaches a larger number number of members quicker

but perhaps before you ask you name the files host as the problem may be a known one
that their not acknowledging

From what I've see and read many filehosts especially at the premium level are using delaying tactics simply because the reasons are largely down to too many users
too much traffic making their economic model unprofitable
