You might also notice that whenever there is a lesbian couple, one has the short hair(to presumably pretend to be manful) and the other just cannot bring herself to cut her hair so it is long. Whichever way the sentence goes I hope life means life and not something like 30 years, which would be a nonsense. People like that deserve life because they have f*cked up someone elses for rest of theirs.

Maybe not - They will be going to Cornton Vale Prison of which a 2012 review into women's prisons in Scotland, conducted by former Lord Advocate Elish Angiolini, described Cornton Vale as "a miserable place" and that conditions for prisoners were "antediluvian and appalling".

I bet Lord Angiolini never spent a night in the Travelodge in Scarborough.

Pat Condell is also "Christianophobic", but he talks more about Islam, for some inexplicable reason.

Perhaps this sort of thing that gets up his nose:

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...ce-Tasers.html

I guess that makes one more "Islamophobe."

I won't bother to post several more similar stories from the past week.

When did any government appointed lawyer claiming expenses ever stay in any hotel with fewer than about 50 stars?

Not many similar stories from London, I bet: this one got a lot of press because it is not a common occurrence here. Incidentally, the perpetrator was denounced at the time by another Muslim traveller in the station who vehemently repudiated what the man was doing as unIslamic. Now, not altogether surprisingly, it emerges that the perpetrator is mentally ill. His motive was clearly messianic religious paranoia but plainly he was also not quite the ticket and I am sure the court will have to decide whether he is fit to plead.

I am not jumping on any bandwagon after reading this story.

I had the misfortune of staying in a Travelodge in Birmingham. We had been unable to get a booking anywhere else. Never ever again! It was cold, I was told I could put the heater on, three days out of four, there was no hot water, the b5eakfast was a box, with a small yogurt, small bottle of juice, a cereal bar and a biscuit!

Sadly the response was to credit my account with £50, I had to set up the account, and to this day the money remains there, so anyone needing a free night, just ask!
