Would you really want to meet her?

No matter how much I think my Goddess Sara Lynn aka Sabrina west is perfection, until better proof, my Goddess is Aphrodite, perfection, she is just so beautiful that nature and the Gods peeked when all they use to create, could not do better after her!
Okay, I meet her and I have a long slide ride down reality lane, a long ride of it for sure.
Ever to meet them, and have the fantasy destroyed, can she live up to her image shown, would you dare?

Tricky question.

I suppose we could try and 'prepare' ourselves in some way before meeting our goddesses (or gods), by telling ourselves that they are 3-dimensional people and are as likely as any 'normal' people to be bad-tempered, foul-mouthed, ignorant, stupid, smelly or as likely to be decent, well-mannered, clean, intelligent and nice, or an incomprehensible mix of all of those things.

But would it work? Would we still be able to see them as goddesses (or gods) once we'd met them?

Could it depend mostly on what we already think of them before meeting them?

Fantasies work best when you see them as sex objects, not people.

I think I have already said this elsewhere on VEF.

I always fancied Olivia Newton John when I was a teenager.

In my late 20's a friend and I walked into an upmarket hotel after a few drinks and there she was with only her female PA as company. To cut a long story short we decided to go up and speak to her. For at least an hour and a half we had a great time. Very nice lady. Lived up to my expectations. Olivia left to go to her room as she had a concert to prepare for. The PA stayed behind though.

Great night.
Probably a 50/50 choice of whether you want to meet them or not but I am glad I did.

I met her in the old Yahoo group dedicated to her, and she mentioned some way of staying in shape, given her paralysis. Her upper bod was in good shape, but her legs had atrophied over the years.

I tried to fantasize about her later, but could not get into it...have not since.

(Short Version of dream I had in early 90s) I was at the Hyatt on Maui having brunch at the Swan Court restaurant. She was at another table with some guy. He gets up and leaves in a huff. She looks annoyed, I approach her and ask if I my join her. She graciously allows me to. We talk then take a walk thru the hotel grounds on to the beach. (I awake) It was a very vivid dream and it made me happy for that whole day. Meeting her in person could not top it, but I would still like to meet her. Her story must be fascinating.

Quite simply.... no. Let them remain a fantasy. The imagination fills in the blanks best. I would be curious as to how some have aged but that is about it.

It's not dissimilar to meeting your male heroes from sports or anything else, except without the lust/sex angle. I've met about 6 PB PMOM's and knowing a little about their photography techniques, I was not surprised that they did not look as good in person as they did in the magazine. With one exception. Janet Quist, PB PMOM 12/78 looked better in person than she did in the magazine, and was very gracious and friendly. Even though she hasn't posed anywhere in about 15 years, I'd still love to meet my all-time favorite Jordan West, since she seems to have at least a little spark of intelligence and mischief behind the eyes, which is rare in many models/porn stars.

On topic: yes. There's only one life and because of that I prefer right impression instead some confort & illusions.

On other hand, I speak from some different position because my THE GIRL is not famous, we met each other in RL and she is really the best looking lady I ever seen (count here TV, mags, Internet...).
