Last lot for today, a few scans of front page appearance in the Daily Star:
    I have been lurking on this site for years and never thought I would have anything to contribute! How wrong I was when I found those photos. Will try and sort out what else I have from various now long since defunct sources over the next few days. Meantime I do have almost all of Danni's Page 3 appearances which I know have already appeared in this thread but would benefit from some decent rescanning if anyone is interested? I have gone and rescanned all of my Danni Wheeler Page 3’s from The Sun and Daily Star at a better resolution. A few things to note:
1 – I have rescanned as best as I can to reduce as much as possible bleed through from printing on the reverse (scanning with black card behind worked on most of these) but in some cases where a pale photograph is matched to one of The Sun’s sensationalist white on black headline banners on the reverse there was sadly not an awful lot I could do. 2 – Most of these were mounted onto white paper using double sided tape and on a few of the pics, the double sided taped has over the years caused a reaction either with the paper or the ink resulting in a few dark blobs appearing. Most of these I have managed to overcome by scanning in unmounted duplicates, needless to say double sided tape is now banned from use on my collections!! 3 – As far as I am aware, this is nearly all of Danni’s appearances from 1994 through to her last appearance in the Daily Star on 11th April 1999. There are some duplicates where the Star has been sneaky and used the same picture (or a similar one from the same photo shoot) at least twice, particularly in later years but these have been included for completeness. I think I am missing a few of her very first appearances in The Sun, if you have them (with accurate dates if possible) I would love to see them! File name format is ‘DW-(paper)-yyyy-mm-dd’.
