Attention: There is a prevalent email scam happening everywhere where the sender claims to have a password to a site and demands money in some form. Ignore it, do not respond and at most change passwords on any sites you frequent.

Effective immediately, moving or animated GIFs are not allowed in signatures. If your signature has one, please remove or replace it asap. Staff will remove them as and when we see them without notice.

Sincerest apologies to everyone for the recent blackout. VEF and several of our sister forums had a major server malfunction. The database index is being rebuilt from scratch and may take at least several days to be fully restored. Expect major weirdness and lots of glitches in the meantime. Thank you all for your patience and understanding.

Unfortunately it seems that all of the posts made from the 13th March until the crash are permanently lost, please feel free to re-post any such material, apologies for this.

I used to be a much more active porn surfer/sharer, but I ended up with malware up the ying-yang. It got so bad I had to have my PC sent out to a pro for major debugging. Since then, I've kept myself pretty much to this site (which I trust -- thanks, guys!) and a few of the image-sharing sites (such as ImageBam). I haven't had any more problems. So now I'm tempted to get more active again with my downloading and uploading, yet I'm wary. It'd be great to hear what rules of thumb folks use for safe porn-hunting. For instance, I avoid TGPs or anything that looks like it's based in Russia or Eastern Europe. (Which is a shame, because I love TGPs.) Any other tips? Got specific sites you think are trustworthy? Some you know are trouble? Any wisdom y'all could share would be much appreciated..... -Doc
