Indeed. Me too I've always liked her although obviously better when she was young. From a male perspective her books encourage women to be their selves, not what men want them to be and do a lot of shagging when they felt like it. Gets no argument from me.

I can't really think of why she is known. She was in the holiday programme on BBC and I think she was in some rubbish game show based on Cluedo. She has a real gruff voice and is overly manly but I bet some of you have thought about it -
