Help finding info about German song in "Bordel SS" (1978)?

"Bordel SS" (1978) features a German song with one of the most beautiful melodies I've ever heard several times throughout the movie (possibly with different words some of the times).

I'm not able to make out what the words are (I know very little German), and don't know whether the song was written especially for the film or was an already-existing song that the film's makers simply decided to use.

Does anyone know anything about the song? Can anyone who understands German make out any of the words? And does anyone know if it was an already-existing song, or where a recording of it separate from the film can be found?

Googling those lyrics doesn't reveal anything, but at least I now know what they are. That alone is a lot more than what I had before.
