That the 80s girl pop group Vanity 6 had only three members? The "6" in the title referred to the collective number of boobs in the group.

Founded by Prince, he originally wanted to call them "The Hookers" and wanted lead singer Denise Matthews to call herself "Vagina".

The GTOs were a "groupie group" that consisted of Miss Pamela (Pamela Ann Miller, later Pamela Des Barres), Miss Sparky (Linda Sue Parker), Miss Lucy (Lucy Offerall, later Lucy McLaren), Miss Christine (Christine Frka), Miss Sandra (Sandra Lynn Rowe, later Sandra Leano), Miss Mercy (Mercy Fontenot, aka Judith Edra Peters) and Miss Cynderella (Cynthia Wells, later Cynthia Cale-Binion). The group hailed from the area around Los Angeles in the late 1960s, with most of the girls being denizens of the Sunset Strip scene. Their only album, Permanent Damage, was released in 1969.

Miss Pamela and Miss Sparky met while attending Cleveland High School. Miss Christine had travelled to Los Angeles from San Pedro with Miss Sandra, and both lived in the basement of Frank Zappa's log cabin in the mid-1960s.

The album was 'put on hold' before it's release as Zappa (who co produced with Lowell George) reportedly caught one of them mainlining.
Of the seven members, four are deceased.

I don't recall Belinda Carlisle being a member of the Bangles? I know she was originally in the Go-Gos (along with one of the members of Bangles-Suzanna Hoffs?) and then went solo, but with the Go-Gos she was singing with her and Jane Wiedlin, who incidentally went on to have two solo hits of her own, 'Rush Hour' and ' Inside a Dream' and, made a cameo appearance in film 'Clue' (based on Cluedo) as a singing telegram girl is accidentally shot!

You're right of course. It wasn't the Bangles but the Go-Go's. They ran into controversy over a backstage video where they were encouraging a roadie to undress - perhaps the comment was made in that.

The Go Gos - They might have looked sweet in their videos, but these girls are not innocent. Back in their heyday, they made an after concert video with a drunk roadie. While the roadie masturbates, the girls are giggling in the background. Later in the video, Kathy Valentine shoves a vibrator up the roadie's ass when he is passed out on a hotel room bed.

I'm still more interested in the tour bus idea, really. Each to his own.
