Global Warming
so what are your opinions on global warming?
do you believe it exists? is it man made? or do you believe that its something made up for governments around the world to tax us even more? in the uk we didnt have a summer last year hence global warming turned into "climate change", this winter we had the coldest start to a winter for years! global temperatures havent risen for 11 years now. sea ice instead of decreasing like we keep being told is at its highest level since 1979-link! |

In my area...we had our coolest Summer in 30 years...with the hottest being back in the 1930's. So no, I don't put much stock into Global Warming much.
Like Leprechaun's post said "Our climate has always undergone changes". |

I love the way anyone who questions man-made global warming is supposed to be an oil company stooge, while the believers are portrayed as dedicated scientists putting the future of our children ahead of personal gain.
Its also amusing to notice 'global warming' discreetly becomes 'climate change' when temperatures dont follow the computer predictions.

Politically I agree with the statement above.I do believe in the concept of "global climate change" though.Do I think we're doomed and man is the cause?-No! Can i see changes in weather patterns? Yes.
I think it's a natural cycle though, and all this hand wringing going on is nothing but a means to monetary gain by those with liberal social agendas. |

I just don't buy global warming. Natural climate change sure, it's an ongoing process that our cars and trucks have no effect on. Al Gore invented global warming to keep his name in the papers and make big$$$$$$$

To every action an equal and opposite re-action.
Weather cycles are bound to change naturally, yet you can't go on putting generations of hydrocarbons and carbon monoxide into the atmosphere and expecting a status quo. |
