Super Troopers 2 was released in the U.S yesterday and early reviews sound very good. No firm news on a UK release date yet.

About ten years ago, on late night TV, they used to re-run the original series of Monkey Magic!.
I use to occasionally watch it just out of curiosity/for a laugh, and I can clearly remember thinking to myself "Why don't they ever re-make this?".

Well, here we are ten years later and they've actually gone and did it!

Can I just say that has a child I very vaguely remember this when it used to be on.
What I remember most vividly was the beginning-the huge egg breaks free, rolls down the mountain and he jumps out of it.

The reason why I remember that at the time was simply because has a child it use to scare the hell out of me!

I found the reboot disappointing. I use to watch the original with my kids and the modern show has none of the charm or petulant humour of the old one.

Yeah, that was my source too....but I'll really believe it when I sitting down to watch the first episode.
