How to make clips from MP4 files

Is there a program to splice out the parts you want and then re-assemble them? e.g. say you want to take out all the close-up shots of the genitals and penetration points from a scene, show only the bigger picture.

Yes... And this program will save any segment of a movie, then "encode" it as a separate movie clip! I swear by it: NCH Videopad (Pro or free edition).

It's like a poor mans Adobe Premiere (that pros use to edit video in TV and film companies). You can do a range of other video-editing with it too, like transitions and effects.

Thanks for recommending NCH Videopad. It certainly does look very promising. Video transitions are great. And it has a lot of very applicable (some of them are mind blowing) effects.

I'd say it works great, but I've just tried it. Want to play some more with it in order to see, but it does look like a very useful software.
