I never stated that it wasn't softcore. I will admit that what I stated could be construed as ambiguous, but that was for the purpose of titillation and I admit to that, but I think anyone who has any knowledge of her career would understand it and take it in the correct manner.

Mod edit: Post 5 by Zorin was moved to the Tessa Hewitt thread. As for the images in posts 2 and 3, we'll try to ID the models before we can make a move. Thank you. |

Not really a problem, more a question: there are two sc threads named Pauline Taylor, #2. They're not the same model. #2 so-far has only Page 3 pics, so maybe add that to title to distinguish them? /shrug/ #1 was in Mayfair (x2), but also Men Only & Club (Brazil). Both seem to date from c.1982 so difficult to distinguish by time/era.
Edit: if you put your mouse cursor on the title of the first thread, you'll see she was a Mayfair model, and if you put it on the second thread you'll see she was a P3 girl. If that's not enough, you may have to look at them |

Why has Claudie Perrin's thread title been changed to Claude Carrefour? I agree with simplifying her thread title, I just wonder as to why that name was chosen.
Yes, she was called Claude Carrefour, in Mayfair, but only once, and to my knowledge not again in any other mags. She has several 2-part candidate names but I would have thought if one were going to be preferred as title it would be a more common one, rather than just a one-off as chosen there? If in doubt perhaps check with the likes of CosmoK, as he probably knows more about her than most? In discussions with him in the past, or in MIR, people have largely referred to her as Claudie Perrin. /shrug/ Some other candidate names: Florence Cayrol, Claudie Pellerin, Lorence Cayrol... |

I think the point being made by bourschwa above is that there is no evidence of any mag. ever calling that model Francesca Beauchamps. The only mag. calling her Francesca Beauchamp was Mayfair, & they did so without a trailing S as can be seen in the scans. The scans from Lui show that mag. called her just Francesca, with no professional "surname". So the trailing S would seem to be a typo., an accidental mistake but which vef mods. are now seemingly trying to "institutionalise" by preserving it as an "aka" in the first post of her thread. This seems based not upon evidence but instead supposition: supposition or presumption that the first member who typed her name with a trailing S might (must?) instead have been right rather than simply making a typo. as we all can do.
If you can find any evidence of a mag. using that spelling for her then fine, but in the 9 years since that thread was begun on vef none such has yet appeared. Other vef members who have visited that thread either have not noticed the false trailing S or else they haven't cared to point it out. That is not evidence of it's "correctness". Edit: whether it suits everyone or not, and whether it was published in a magazine or not, she obviously is also known by the alternative name right here on VEF, and for quite a long time. That means that if the aka is missing from her main thread, some Members looking for her won't find her. That's why she has the "aka" - it's there for search purposes |
