It's completely gone. It's an old imageupper file. They all died some times back.

sadly we neither can edit, post or quote anything in the mystery boxes. which was a good idea on the one hand, to prevent members from adding anything to the boxes on their own, on the other hand annoying when for example we want to just place a quote from a box post into a different thread of the regular MIR zone. not sure if admin tools allow to just enable the QUOTE button to create a reply with a quote but then still blocks the post from being added to the box - at least this would help to easily check which host was used (instead of reviewing the entire source code to find the answer) - and would come in handy when you start new follow-ups.

As far as I know there's no way to allow only some features at the VEF Admin level; it's all or none.

maybe, maybe not. too many years have passed since i've worked on our forum settings but i can imagine it could be possible since we have the "new thread" button in this subforum and it also gives you the edit page when you click this button. software just prevents that a new thread happens since it's blocked for unauthorized usergroups. this lets me think that the display of functional buttons and granting access to write into the DB with this function are two different settings and may works adaptive with quote.

but it also can be that in contrary to page/forum functions the post functions are strictly "on or off" as you say.

There is an easy workaround, by using "Quote this post in PM to ...", you'll get the complete quote of the Box post including also the post title, e.g.:



I'm not sure if the icon on the bottom right of a post works, can't test it, because it might be different for mods, but using the solution via the members name definitely works for non-Mods also.

It even works for posts of blocked members. And I assume also for posts of members who have PM's disabled.
The only case that I can think of where it doesn't work, would be deleted accounts. But that's just a few posts in the box.
