Always been more of a Leah fan myself, but here are a few pics of a scene between Malandra & Leah discussing a pretty girl. Btw I have always loathed "Emmerdale"...any show that could have had Malandra Burrows & Leah Bracknell kissing on-screen, but failed to do so, should be cancelled a.s.a.p.

Going back to 1993, when Zoe Tate's "lesbian" storyline got started, I was hoping Leah's character Zoe would get involved with Malandra's character Kathy, her soon to be ex-sister-inlaw. That would have made the headlines, and me very happy!

Sadly, this was as close as we got at the time, Kathy asking Zoe how long she had been gay?, and they exchanged a few knowing looks.

I am sure you are right, as "Emmerdale Farm" is unbelievably crass, and low-brow... even the show's creator Kevin Laffan asked for his name to be removed from the credits in the mid 80's in protest at how crap it had become...before money changed hands and his name was added again.

Here we have another "Malandra as sex object" moment from early '94, though this time it's her bosom that demands the viewers attention...it even slows the poor woman down as she turns, and moves away!

Checking eBay, I discovered "Malandra Burrows" showed 150 items for sale, and "Leah Bracknell" only 30 (20 of which are her Yoga DVD from twenty years ago), though Malandra's 150 included 80 music singles from even earlier.

Here is a 1990 single with Malandra on the A side, and the "Emmerdale Suite" on the B side, and made by Yorkshire Television, so no great surprise it was quickly forgotten. Making Malandra look like a psycho on the front cover did not help either, I think they were aiming for "sultry", but they ended up with psycho.
