Honestly, I have never seen ammunition sold by the barrel before. I posted here just to get a reaction from you guys. The most I ever bought in one order before was something around 6,000 rounds of Soviet 7.62x54R which was like 8 cents a round. That was like 10 years ago and I think I could sell it for 15 to 20 cents a round now if I sold it is small quantities. It was in 440 round tins, I think.

Serious shooters will fire 12,000 rounds in around one year. Most gun owners in the US are not serious shooters. Machine gun owners will fire in multiples of that number.

Loose in a barrel? That stuff should come on stripper clips.

What will your fingers look like after snapping 12,500 rounds of ammo onto stripper clips?

Nah - get your kids to do that. Children have to earn their pocket money.

On a less ballistic note I have seen a flock of about a dozen parakeets; while common Downunda, scarce here in Upova. On a grey december day in grey london against a grey sky those silly looking green bastards would put a smile on anybodys face.

I find this really strange. A giant mall like Brent Cross Shopping Centre can open between 11-11.30am for browsing around yet can't trade until 12pm. My friend and I got there early 10.45am(hardly anyone there and parking underground dead easy-no cars around) and just sat and waited - this is the silly thing and I think it still stands now that you could buy a porn magazine on a Sunday but you couldn't buy a Bible. This is due to the Sunday trading laws bought in some years ago, to keep it holy for many and a day of rest which is fair enough, but this is Christmas and now people work on Sundays and because of that you'd think that this might be relaxed(you can't even find a porn magazine these days, its all online) I think NEXT year we will go late night shopping (as we used to do years ago) instead.

How sad that a zoo(Chester) has lost a number of its insects and other animals due to a fire. I hope they find out what happened, and it wasn't some mindless moron who set it.

Egypt bans yellow vests in fear of copycat protests

Egyptian authorities have introduced restrictions on the sale of hi-vis vests in fear the clothing could inspire imitations of French protesters during next month’s anniversary of the 2011 uprising that toppled Hosni Mubarak.

Security officials and retailers said industrial safety equipment dealers have been instructed not to sell yellow vests to walk-in buyers and to restrict business to wholesale to verified companies, but only after securing police permission. They were told offenders would be punished, the officials said without elaborating.

In Cairo, Associated Press reported that six retailers selling safety gear said they had stopped selling the vests.

They released this video this month. A school security guy saw and recognized the soon to be shooter as he entered the school with a rifle case. He did not try to stop the kid, he didn't call police, he did warn another unarmed security guy who hid in a closet. He didn't call for a shutdown as he didn't see a gun and didn't want to start a false alarm, instead he fled.

This won't be seen on main stream media. It should be. The guy admits that they had a prior meeting where this kid was described as the number one potential threat to the school, he sees him enter with a rifle case, he doesn't try to search him, doesn't give a warning to the school - he just flees. The armed police officer wasn't the only piece of shit employed there. Apparently this guy had a sexual harassment charge against him so they placed him in a security job - which seems to be their place for problem employees. Pretty sad tale of the events that led up to the murders.

Because you might be running a rifle range and want to make a profit on the ammunition you supply.
