Kevin here. Do Australians go so crazy about Christmas shopping, and making parties, and singing Christmas carols and getting and decorating Christmas trees as the rest of the world(where Christmas is observed)?

Yes. But it makes no sense to sing songs about snow when last summer it was near cracking 100 where I live.

Makes sense to me, at least you might feel slightly cooler singing about snow

We're heading off to a white Christmas tomorrow. My wife and I are going to visit her family in Norway for three weeks and if we've got time we'll visit friends in Bath and York. No mad rushing around trying to fit in my siblings and our kids in one day this year thank god!

Kiwis certainly do-so I imagine most of those living on t'other side of the ditch do likewise......though snow is a bit hard to find round these parts.....though my parents once experienced a white Xmas in NZ around 1975 when it snowed in Roxburgh, Central Otago-despite it being nearly a month into summer...

Actually had one here before and suspect Motoboater also, a nice amount of hail with a thunderstorm that raged for about 2 hours Had the power dip a few times in a row so quickly turned off a few of the expensive items.
Hail is white so yes we do have white Xmas's in Aus

It's a platypus stuffed inside a quoll served in a quokka. Delicious and utterly reprehensible! |
