Attention: There is a prevalent email scam happening everywhere where the sender claims to have a password to a site and demands money in some form. Ignore it, do not respond and at most change passwords on any sites you frequent.

Effective immediately, moving or animated GIFs are not allowed in signatures. If your signature has one, please remove or replace it asap. Staff will remove them as and when we see them without notice.

Sincerest apologies to everyone for the recent blackout. VEF and several of our sister forums had a major server malfunction. The database index is being rebuilt from scratch and may take at least several days to be fully restored. Expect major weirdness and lots of glitches in the meantime. Thank you all for your patience and understanding.

Unfortunately it seems that all of the posts made from the 13th March until the crash are permanently lost, please feel free to re-post any such material, apologies for this.

Don't want to violate any rules here on the forum. Very early issues, remember the first years were only every other month issued, even LS issue number one along with some other nylon themed mags like Tip Top. Over two decades. I don't want to toss them, no time to scan them, but i could put together a list, want them to go to a good home. I'm in Ca SF bay area, maybe a collector in the area of interest? Maybe some thoughts?
