This isn't about avoiding people of other races, it's about safety and nothing else. EVERY SINGLE person who enters this country must be background checked no matter what race they are and we can't background check them if they cross the dessert in the middle of the night or when they come out of a war zone with no identification.

And I believe 100% in the reverse, I am not a hypocrite. I should absolutely have to take the same checks when I go into one of their countries. ALL governments have a duty to protect their citizens from outsiders not just America.

I agree with running background checks, keep the undesirables at bay .... but even that becomes a bit silly.

My home state, Victoria, has a Labor Party in power now and I didn't vote for them and the chances of me voting for them at the next election are the same as SanteeFats being the next Pope

One of the Upper House MP's in that party, Khalil Eideh, was denied entry into the US just in the past month or so

Honestly this is unfortunate , but someone with his background should of known he might have problems entering here. Perhaps the left knew this would happen and are using him to push their outrage

Being Austrian and not Australian I have to admit I don't know anything about your Aussie politics and its public figures. This is the first time I read about this Khalil Eideh fella but seriously doubt he'd be a MP in your country if he was a security threat. This denial of entry in America is scandalous. The actual security threat to the entire world are Trump and his army.
