Hall of Fame sportscaster Bob Wolff, considered one of the most iconic and decorated play-by-play men in history, died Saturday at his home in New York.

He was 96.

Rick Wolff, Bob's son, confirmed the sportscaster died "peacefully" to CBS News. Wolff is the only broadcaster in history to do play-by-play for the World Series, NBA Finals, Stanley Cup Final and NFL championship game (now Super Bowl).

Justine Diamond. Victim of yet another trigger happy American cop. I have an American friend who tells me I know nothing of the stresses American law enforcement officials face...true I don't. But I do know, shooting someone dead shouldn't be the first response by people who are first and foremost, supposed to protect and serve.

Being an Australian i was very saddened by this senseless killing of an innocent 40 year old woman in Minneapolis she rung the police who are supposed to protect you because she thought there was an assault going on in her area she was in her pyjamas unarmed and this is what happened it's just crazy.

Was an American actor film stuntman and songwriter he was a close high school friend of rock and roll singer Elvis Presley probably best known to American film audiences for his role as Red in Road House alongside Patrick Swayze he died age 81 aortic aneurysm.

He was apparently abused as a child and he did have a history of alcohol and drug problems. Those sorts of things will lead to very dark thoughts at times. Most of the time something will click in your head and the dark thoughts will pass. Sadly though it doesn't always happen and those dark thoughts overwhelm the person. That appears to have been the case here.

Depression is a killer and sadly it will continue to kill because people still fail to understand it fully.
RIP Chester.

I'm totally shocked by Chester Bennington's death by suicide. It goes to show that even if someone's famous, rich and has everything that he wants if he's not happy and/or has a mental illness it doesn't mean anything to have money and to be famous.
