No wonder the prudish Victorians condemned the theatres and Music Halls of the time,
they were full of attractive actresses flaunting themselves to audiences often made up of a lower class rabble.

Add to that the actresses have their own dressing rooms with locks on the doors
... a place for a romantic liason after the show......
Some theatres were just gigantic brothels... back in the day
( probably still are )

As someone who has been involved in the music industry and latterly in a minor role in tour management, I have had access to a lot of backstage areas, dressing rooms and the like.. A triple A pass [Access All Areas] gets you into places where Joe Public doesn't usually see..

I have known of occasional "romantic liaisons" [that's a good way of putting it] taking place in such areas but there is an unwritten rule amongst folks who are priveledged to gain access to backstage.. "What goes on backstage stays backstage" :-)))
