are you sure... about that jdownloader. who use it ?
i mean its some type of trojan/virus.Mine Eset blocks it.
i done online virustotal scan for this app,and mostly all top AV shown it danger.

Yes by browser i think its always slow to upload.. what other method to upload them on these hosts. hope its not that File & Image Uploader

I use FileZilla for FTP uploads to my website, it should work with 1fichier too, I havent figured out the settings though, web uploads works fine for me at 100Mbit up/down fiber connection.

Many programs give false positives, probably because of Java, which is considered a vulnerability. I tried JDownloader in the past and found nothing wrong with it.

Filezilla works great with 1fichier, you just need a registered account, free or premium does not matter.

That's what I use and normal sized uploads @ 1 GB take about 3 minutes.

The installer comes with Adware. There is an option not to install that Adware.


There also are sites where you can download a clean installer.

You need a seriously good reason to make premium users abandon a value for money host

To give an idea of when VEF wants hosts removed or not used

Trying to diagnose why some have issues is not easy when very few are supplying anything but

Interesting thing - i have 3 Firefox proxy add-ons (shitty russian censors block many sites) and trying DL from various IP's (US, Netherlands, Australia...) as free & unregistered user. 1fichier never asks "turn off adblock", never refresh page and i'm don't have any problem with DL from 1fichier as free user...

Only one problem i have after 1fichier update their site - unavailable scroll function in "My files". I ask support about it and they says - clear cookies & browser cache. After this problem was solved.

I have the opposite. I use quite a lot of plugins in Chrome and FF: AdBlock Plus, Adblock for Facebook and Youtube, FB Purity, videodownloadhelper, LastPass, Pocket, Greasemonkey, coin mine blocker, just to name a few, and after clearing both browser caches and disabling all plugins, I was still unable to download as a free user. I tried through my normal connection (Dutch ISP) and via a USA server using a VPN, nothing works. I can't get a file downloaded as free user, except when using Opera without any plugins installed.

No problems when I sign in to premium account, also no scroll function problems in 'my files', maybe because I don't have a whole lot in there (yet).

To those who still have problems downloading as a free user and can't find the culprit I'd say: try JDownloader or use Opera browser.
