This is a second generation slide and is a good example of the slides which were sold commercially. The first generation would be developed directly from the film which was exposed inside the camera. All slides which say "Commercial Rights Reserved" are second generation. The original slides were hand-stamped (with a common office-type rubber ink stamp) and individually numbered so they could be indexed. Some of the commercially sold slides also have the index number. I don't currently have an example of the first generation stamping. But I do have a good example of the stamping on prints which were sold. This example features Gaye Gibson aka Julia Parton. All genuine TLI prints will be so stamped.



Here's an example of one of his early black & white glamour photos. This one has been glued onto an editor's board so it probably appears in a magazine somewhere.
