May is in deep trouble. She has handled the EU situation badly and I don't see her getting this country a good deal over Brexit. Some people have decided to make Brexit into a hatred of other European countries campaign, but this is a colossal mistake as they will still be our neighbours and hopefully our friends in the future. The EU structure is bad and the leadership awful, but that's another matter and it requires good diplomacy, not some "bloody difficult woman!"
Unfortunately, the election was ill-considered, especially as she had a few years in the bag. May has handled all manner of things in this campaign badly, being evasive and arrogant. Not going to Cambridge was a serious mistake. Sticking it to UK pensioners, who have often made very big contributions to the tax man and society was amazingly stupid. Then we have fracking, HS2, fox hunting and does anyone vaguely remember promises to take on the greed driven energy companies who continue to rip us all off in the name of massive profits? Not much point in mentioning immigration, is there? With the NHS, schools and police in real difficulty, it's no good saying there are no magic money trees when we are giving billions in aid to places that many members of the public have never even heard of and providing a very easy ride for big business. Even if the Tories scrape in, they can expect a very rough ride and I would almost put money on her jacking in the job within another week or so, whatever the outcome. The way she has been handling things will not be going down well with the unseen major Tory supporters. I suppose the real question is, who will take over? Hopefully not Amber Rudd as she really is the Tory answer to Diane Abbot and a fairly nasty piece of work. How about Boris? Has his time finally arrived? |

I know little of the upcoming election.
I just fervently hope my friends in Britain will choose not to live under the sword of Islam. This may well be the pivotal moment. |

The irony is that when we go to vote on Thursday our polling station is at a Hindu Cultural Centre in a side hall. I should add that just two days ago I learned that a man was stabbed in a nearby road AND two days before that a helicopter that had been hovering pretty low over our area was in fact checking on a man who had been arrested holding two knives - it seems to be getting rather too close to home for my liking. It reminded me of when the IRA struck close to home - an Army Recruitment centre was blown up and in another incident in the high street a car was blown up outside a Jewish centre but close to an Irish bank. No-one is safe these days.
You really think puhbear that May will lose? I can't see it somehow but I am sure that Labour, Lib-Dems and the Greens will gain votes, maybe the Conservatives might oust the S.N.P. in some areas of Scotland too. I like Jeremy Corbyn but I cannot believe he will be PM Friday.

Two days to go and all this will be so much chip paper.
At this time I have to admit I have no faith in that soft arse serial terrorist apologist Corbyn being able to lay his demons to rest and do what has to be done against Islam. Nor do I trust someone who has already declared his hand to the EU to accept any deal they offer The Conservative fumbled the ball recently but of the main parties they appear to be the only ones making the right noises, it remains to be seen how they will put that into practice if they get in. The Lib Dems EU puppets, not a chance I'd even consider them. Of the other parties The Greens are the only ones I may consider.

If the UK decides to arm their police, they can get all the extra ordinance they need at wholesale prices from the U.S. We have everything and anything!
