I agree with you on musical taste and probable cynicism of the artists motives but the idea is sound and generous. We all need to stand up and continue as we were in the face of these closet fudge packers in suicide vests that cant live with them selves.
I can think of no better person that Gene Simmons to stick our collective thumb in their eye.

Maybe Gary Barlow OBE and his mates will also stop siphoning all their cash into aggressive tax avoidance schemes so we can afford to put a few more police on the streets and staff in our hospitals.

As is always the case, in the case of this company not all their installations are easily protected, nor their senior managers and staff. Absolutely heroic act, and you may not be aware, but the people holding the placards are ALL survivors, as an Arabic speaker I can not watch this without a tear in the old cynical eye! The symbolism is phenomenal, using little school girls, and women to show the change in much of Arab society, the final shot with the baby being handed to the beaming would be suicide bomber, saying blatantly, we are a young society and we need to build together for the future. To come back to the good Doctors post, the bravery of ordinary folk, standing up to whatever regime and terrorists is to me always breathtaking. Many of you know, I have a great love and affinity with Holland, also Rugby and to combine the two, Rotterdam Rugby Club, bears on its badge the foundation year, 1940, founded as a direct act of resistance to German occupation, throughout the war many of the clubs members gave their lives resisting the Germans, it also shares a date with my Regiment, also founded 1940, our biggest battle honour was won in Holland, at Arnhem, for a romantic old git like me it is a marriage made in heaven! I am honoured to be considered a friend and welcomed member of the club!

I noticed that Liam Gallagher played a benefit gig for the victims of Manchester and speculation is rife whether he and his brother Noel, could reunite at the for a concert for them as their Oasis song "Don't Look Back In Anger" has become the 'anthem' of the people of Manchester. I think however you'd get better odds on Jeremy Corbyn being the new PM than that. (Sorry if I have got the brothers mixed up)

You misunderstood me. The insult I threw at the individual that blew himself up was because of the report I had read that he was a closet homosexual. I thought I had included the link, if I can track it down again I'll post it here.
I believe his culture may have backed him into a corner so to speak.
If this is true, that in itself is sad; but to take innocent people with you is unforgivable. Religious zealots of any stripe need to be shown that they will never win.
That is what I was trying to say without giving myself time to say it.
I still stand by my conviction that having Gene Simmons preform is the biggest insult to the radicals that are behind this.
