Thanks for pointing me in the direction of this post. Fascinating reading on some of the history of CCC. They're my all time favourite company but sadly have not seen all their output from the old days... I take it that the gaps in the opening 'A' picture intros are 'missing in action' ones that have been lost in the mists of time? By the way does anyone know the name of the tune used? I also remember hearing it in 'The Sweeney' when Regan and Carter walk into a pub of all things. It instantly had my attention...

Christa [CC model]
Apologies if this has been asked before but does anyone know what years Christa was active in the porn industry? Like Tiny Tove she seems to have had two distinct periods of making films. For example Tiny Tove made a number of loops in the summer of 1977 then seemingly stopped making films but then seems to have resurfaced making movies in 1979, possibly after CC bought out another production company (Film Labs?) and acquired their film loops which probably included the early Tove films. I think it was after this buy-out that her early loops were either actually released or at least became widely distributed. She then dropped out of the industry for good about 2 years later.
I know little about Christa (other than she is gorgeous!) but I have noticed that she too seems to have initially made a number of loops in a short period of time (in some she's wearing either the same Adidas top or has the same style knee length socks and is usually seen with the same guy) and then seems to have vanished for a while as the next batch of films she is in she looks a year or two older, has no underarm hair and seems to have started trimming her pubic hair. But unlike Tove there seems to be a third period for Christa where she again looks a year or two older and is a bit more fuller faced and her boobs look bigger. I once read that her early loops date from 1975 and if so her later films must be from around 1979 or 1980. Like Tove, by 1981 her loops were beginning to appear on CC compilation videos and nothing new seems to have appeared after this point. I must admit I'm curious to know a little more about Christa, unlike Tiny Tove very little seems to be known - though I did once read a post at another message board which was made around 2006 or 2007 where the poster wrote that he'd found out that the hairdresser that his mother used (or had used a few years earlier, I forget) was Christa of CC fame but he wouldn't reveal her proper name (which if it is true seems fair enough). I never knew what to make of that post. It probably wasn't true but who knows? Last edited by love tove; November 13th, 2012 at 12:12 AM.. |

I am still researching the subject of Theanders and CCC, it is a slow and tedious process. I have nothing new to tell really, except I have been able to verify something I say in this post.
I mention that Peter Theander is supposed to be a dull person. Here is what's said on the matter in the book Ch**d Pornography: an investigation - (Tim Tate, Methuen 1990, 319 pages) "Peter Theander is variously described as 'serious', 'quiet', 'dull', 'humourless' and 'ordinary'. Few journalists are ever granted an interview with him." I haven't actually read the book yet, this is what came up when searching digitally in libraries. I am awaiting this and other books from various libraries. Some interesting things have surfaced and I will ofcourse post what my investigations reveals. Jolly |

a couple of questions
Hi
My "studying Rodox Corp. story" project is growing bigger and bigger. What we know is that Denmark legalised Porn in 68. We know Theanders started to produce Color Climax Magazine around this time. This is from the back of Color Climax no 11. (Thanks to Mogli63 for the magazine) It contains something rare, publishing dates. I wasn't aware they published CCmag at this rate. They obviously published, or intended to publish, a new CCMag every 3rd monday. If we assume they did this rate the whole time, no1 was published september 2nd, 1968. (But that is probably wrong, I just counted backwards on the calendar) We also know that Candy Studio was opened in 1969. The first magazines for sure weren't shot in a studio. (Probably at Theanders home, I read that somewhere). Ok, this is the editorial page from the magazine Birthday Sex (no76). Again, thanks Mogli63 1) Do we know what is magazine no. 1 in the early series? 2) No76 was published in 1970. Assuming they didn't publish much, if any, of this series before 68, the rate of publishing is impressive. Do we know if the numbering of magazines is telling us the row of realeases, or did they have other series as well, this early? (Not counting CC mags ofcourse) 3) Does there exist scans of something they published before the Porn-law change? (The ones in B/W) 4) Does anyone remember what magazine contained the lengthy article about their Super 8 copying facilities? additional note: I just found out that the liberation of Porn in Denmark happened july 1st, 1969. Denmark legalised production and distribution of written pornography in 1967. This means that all Color Climax magasines up to cirka no 15 was illegal. (You might have known this, I didn't). It sure explains the "published by Ole Petersen" stamp. Thanks for your time! Jolly Last edited by JollyHumper; July 13th, 2021 at 12:13 PM.. While browsing through different threads yesterday I saw a discussion about cartoon covers. I'm not sure I saw the question solved, sorry if this is known. if it is I missed it.
According to what CC writes about themselves in Color C magazine no 100, the first editions did NOT have dustcover on their first prints Jolly Last edited by JollyHumper; November 28th, 2012 at 06:06 PM.. Reason: edited a typo |

This article has important information about the history of CCC. Some other mags, brochures, catalogues and books contain additional info. Perhaps we should make a list of this "CC bibliography" and post it here? |

CC1 was published on 26 August 1968 (because it says so in CC100) and for the early issues a new CC mag was produced every three weeks (on a Monday) but at sometime a week was skipped. For some reason, I assumed there was a four week gap between CC1 and CC2. This is wrong. I have a catalogue showing 9 December (1968) for CC6, 18 November for CC5 and 28 October for CC4. Working backwards from CC4, the dates should be 7 October for CC3, 16 September for CC2 and 26 August for CC1 (last one definitely correct). From mogli63's scan, we know it's 31 March 1969 for CC11. The last edition of CC with a known exact publication date is 17 May 1971 for CC48. Counting forwards from CC11 or backwards from CC48, both agree with a three-week interval between issues. So between CC6 and CC11 a week was skipped and the dates for the first few CC issues should be as follows: CC1, 26 Aug 1968, confirmed CC2, 16 Sep 1968, by deduction CC3, 7 Oct 1968, by deduction CC4, 28 Oct 1968, confirmed CC5, 18 Nov 1968, confirmed CC6, 9 Dec 1968, confirmed CC7, 30 Dec 1968 or 6 Jan 1969, CC8, 20 Jan 1969 or 27 Jan 1969, CC9, 10 Feb 1969 or 17 Feb 1969, CC10, 3 Mar 1969 or 10 Mar 1969, CC11, 31 Mar 1969, confirmed .
