Thanks, that was enjoyable. Still not the one I was looking for, though. I'm beginning to think I'm remembering the title wrong or something. I think it must have been a pretty obscure video -- i only ever saw it at one mom-and-pop VHS video store. I'm guessing it was never released on DVD, and maybe it was never released in the UK at all. Maybe the best I can hope for is that at some point it surfaces on EBay or something...

Princesa Lea in Mientras México duerme (1986), El Vergonzoso (1988) & La casa que arde de noche (1985)



The two first named clips show nice stage strips, the third too, but it is extremely short and fragmentary (take it as a little gimmick). The first two are by Rampensau1 but I had again to reduce the size by 25 % to get a halfway clear picture (btw I meanwhile found out that not Rampensau1 is to blame for the blowing up of the video but his ultimate source). In the case of the third clip I found a slightly better version on YouTube that is at least not so blurry. Nevertheless are all three clips still rather low quality (medium VHS) ...

Anita Adams & Dolores Carlos in Lullaby of Bareland (1964)



There are two strips in this movie - one by a stripper (Anita Adams) on stage and one by a housewife (Dolores Carlos) at home. Rampensau1 mailed me the second. Looking for a better quality version (that I found on VEF thanks to the post of bozoclown) I noticed that the same guy that at the end of the movie is so notoriusly ignoring the strip of his wife is enjoying a stage show at it's begining. That makes me think that the purpose of the two performances is somehow to contrast the professionality of the striptease dancer against the dilettantism of the "desperate housewife". So I present them together as one clip ...

Belly Dancer Strip from The Super Dreams (c.1964)



To avoid becoming Rampensau2 here is one clip exclusively from myself: A janitor dreams he were a movie producer - one of the kind that is recently so prominent in the media, but not really for their good work. At the begining of his dream he casts a striptease dancer, to show her "talents" she has to do this strip in a belly dancer style ...

The little movie (thanks to bozoclown for posting it!) is bundled with "Lullaby of Bareland". The date is nowhere stated but the two movies seem to belong together, so 1964 is very probable (at least for the production). I also could not find out which one of the girls named at the end is our dancer. Maybe Marlene, as she is named first in this non-alphabetical list ...

Princesa Lea, Gloriella 'La Unica' & Jeannette Mass in Burlesque (1980)



Three stripteases from this mexican movie (I guess many of you know it already). The next load from Rampensau1, but I had again to re-cut them because my own copy of this movie is a little better and - more important - these strip scenes were severely trunctated by obviously wrong cutting decissions (probably already in the source).

P.S: I included a little gimmick in this archive. It's not vintage, so I cannot give it separately. Only so much: it's from a Burlesque show - but it's rare ...

The name of the talkshow was "Tops und Flops", there was just one episode of it that was aired on March 31, 1990. Daniela was one of the guests, talked about her job and had one performance at the end of the show. As promised, Rampensau1 sent me the VHS rip of the interview with Inge Albert and Daniela Richter, who introduced striptease to the GDR ... Since it is in German, of course, I translated it and made a subtitle file for it. This is the first time I did this and I hope it works for all players (with VLC Player it works!).

The talking is very colloquial with many slips of the tongue, fragmented sentences, interferences etc.. I did not try to correct this but rather to render it into English. So, if it is hard to understand at some places the blame is not neccessarily with the poor translator but more probably already with the source. At two places I could not at all understand what they said (given as <?>), but in the second case one can at least guess what was meant. Generally spoken the translation should be halfway acceptable (hopefully!) ...

EDIT: The unknown "keyword" is "Funzel" and refers to a very popular section of the "Eulenspiegel" magazine that included nude photos. (info Rampensau1)
