Gee. I thought it was the Patriots fans who had the reputation of still being upset after a win. Maybe it's just the Australian Patriots fans?

Have to disagree a bit here. I have nothing against Newton overall. I rarely see him (college level or pro). But I did see what he did periodically during the game and afterwards. As far as I'm concerned he acted like an immature ass.

Its really interesting to compare the attitudes of Newton this year and Russell Wilson last year. Both are very accomplished QBs, had not the best last games but one (Wilson) acted like an adult after the game while the other (Newton) acted childish. Wilson deserves respect for that. Newton does not.
Wilson was like that for two reasons.

1) Media training.

2) He couldn't say and act the way he was really thinking/feeling after ballsing that up.

I did see an article on our news channel about season MVP's who failed to live up to the award at the SB.

Earl Morrell failed against the Jets.

Joe Thiesmann against the Raiders. First year I started watching NFL over here and had picked the Redskins as my team to follow and watched the Raiders stomp all over them. Hayes and Haynes never give any of our wide outs a sniff.

John Elway lead the Broncs to a 10-0 start, before the skins blew them out of the water in the 2nd period.

Thurman Thomas (Bills) had a bad day against the skins. How the Bills must have hated the NFC East.

Rich Gannon for the Raiders against the Bucs.

These were considered the top five failures.

This was a fun little piece of fluff article. Not to be taken seriously.

Superbowl Predictions Of The Next 25 Years.

http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/14...r-bowl-winners

Super Bowl LX

Dallas Cowboys 27, St. Louis Stallions 26
Feb. 8, 2026 - Tesla Motors Stadium, San Antonio

Finally recovered from the carnage of the Adrian Peterson trade, the Cowboys ride ageless quarterback Tony Romo and his titanium skeleton to their first Super Bowl title in 30 years. Romo earns the MVP award, throwing for 304 yards and three touchdowns -- including two to NFL career receptions leader Dez Bryant. The expansion Stallions and coach Michael Sam win the AFC championship in just their second season, but they fall short in the big game when a gutsy decision to go for a late two-point conversion fails. ZZ Top performs a classic halftime show and later presents Romo with keys to the Eliminator car. Touched by the gesture, Romo then announces his retirement to Cabo San Lucas.

Super Bowl LXI

Los Jaguares del Mundo 35, Las Vegas Scorpions 9
Feb. 14, 2027 - Facebook Field, Honolulu

Unfazed by a schedule that has them play two "home" games each in London, Barcelona, Rome and Jacksonville, the Jags ride the arm of wily veteran Blake Bortles to victory. All-Pro defensive tackle Rashan Gary records three sacks and an interception to complement Bortles, who throws for 343 yards and three touchdowns. League expansion to 40 teams and 20 playoff berths pushes the big game one week further on the calendar, finally allowing fans a respite for recovery on Presidents Day.

Super Bowl LXII

Buffalo Bills 33, Philadelphia Eagles 17
Feb. 13, 2028 - Virgin Galactic Stadium, Mexico City

Chad Kelly finally delivers championship-starved Buffalo the title that eluded his Hall of Fame uncle, Jim. After throwing for 315 yards and three touchdowns, Kelly addresses reporters in freestyle rap. Philadelphia quarterback Robert Griffin III throws for 260 yards, and Nelson Agholor catches two TD passes in the loss. Halftime performer Jon Bon Jovi is booed off the stage by angry Bills fans, still outraged over his plan to buy the team and move it to Toronto.

Super Bowl LXIII

San Antonio Chupacabras 42, Cincinnati Bengals 30
Feb. 25, 2029 - Manning Passing Academy Dome, New Orleans

San Antonio compiles 545 yards of total offense behind quarterback Dylan McCaffrey and tailback Christian McCaffrey, who become the first brothers to win a Super Bowl as teammates. However, it comes at the expense of the other two McCaffrey brothers, Bengals quarterback Luke and wide receiver Max. After the game, proud father Ed McCaffrey tells his sons that his late-1990s Broncos would have crushed either of their teams. Newly elected President Russell Wilson performs the pregame coin flip, and first lady Ciara puts on a critically acclaimed halftime performance.

etc. . .

It's kind of weird. I wonder how these guys deal with the realisation of causing blunders that if not lost, but heavily contributed to losses?

John Kasay's kick?

Neil O'Donnell. Even last week. I'm listening to Charlotte radio. And a Steelers fan who rang in in sympathy, said that even though he'd seen two SB wins since. He still hadn't forgiven O'Donnell.

Lol

Wow Motorboater...project much?

1) People listen to what he says, he just didn't say much and it wasn't very intelligent.

2) What are you saying here? That cam knows others are better than him and he doesn't like them because of that? Or that people who don't like cam do so because deep down cam is better than them? If it's the first that may be true cam has an inferiority complex, there's a pretty good chance of that given his tantrum after having a bad game.
If it's the second, that's ridiculous. I don't like cam because he's a douche. He's a role model whether he likes it or not, and didn't act like a man. He tries to explain himself with,"Show me a loser that's not a sore loser and I'll show you a loser." Whew! Some deep thought there! He's a punk, and I hope he grows a pair.

3) People don't like others that can express themselves? I for one love people that can express themselves. If cam had something to say that was interesting that'd be great! There's an element of classlessness to what cam does that makes it distasteful. When you win, here's a tip...don't rub the losing teams nose in it by dancing around. You're a qb and a leader and are expected to show some class. When you lose, take it like a man, talk to the press and get on with it. The way that the media does the post game has been done that way for a while. Mr. Douche has been in that seat before and he knows how that postgame is played.

Last year Russell Wilson deserved to win and didn't, yet strangely, still acted like a man..dealt with it, and got back to work. Cam deserved to lose, and did not take his medicine. Pretty stark contrast between the two. As a Seahawk fan, last years loss was extremely tough to take. I'm so glad that my qb is Russell and not cam. Russell may be boring and doesn't dance, but he has character and class.

I have two young boys, and I hope they grow up to be like Russell. I'd be appalled and consider myself a failure as a father if they grew up and acted like cam. But possibly cam will grow up.

If not...the league needs villains too.

Would tend to agree but there seem to be a lot of people not willing to let this go yet. Saw something on the tube this a.m. (sorry, can't remember where but probably one of the ESPN channels) saying there are still a lot of people jumping all over Cam for his antics.

Oh well, I'll have no more to say on the subject.
