That Gen Kelly (Rtd) CoS for Pres Trump, had to have his Meet-the-Press and lose a lot of favour, was a sad, but inevitable development.
Was it him that lead Trump to say Obama never called the family of the fallen, because Trump when he started backing away said..."...so I've been told"...about Obama...next day Gen Kelly faces the press and says Obama never called him when he lost his son.
I can't find a transcript so far, but I'm wondering if ANY reporter present asked if he attended the 'Gold Star Family' Reception at the White House, for the families of the fallen...and I'm wondering if any reporter asked which table he sat at?

A sketch of the Empire State Building drawn by President Donald Trump has sold at auction for $16,000 (£12,000).

Julien’s Auctions says the 12-inch-by-9-inch black marker depiction of the iconic New York City skyscraper was created by Trump for a charity auction in Florida during the time he opened his Mar-a-Lago estate as a private club in 1995.

Donald Trump has said he plans to allow the opening of a trove of long-classified files on the assassination of former president John F Kennedy.

The president tweeted to say he would allow the release "subject to receipt of further information".

The files are scheduled to be opened by the US National Archives on 26 October, but the president is entitled to extend their classified status.

Kennedy was shot dead by a sniper in November 1963 in Dallas, Texas.

The National Archives has already released most documents related to the assassination, but a final batch remains under lock and key.

"Subject to the receipt of further information, I will be allowing, as President, the long blocked and classified JFK FILES to be opened," Trump said in a tweet.

Congress ruled in 1992 that all JFK documents be released within 25 years, unless the president decides the release would harm national security.

The archive contains more than 3,000 previously unreleased documents, and more than 30,000 that have been released before but with redactions.

Trump cares about nothing and no one but Trump, and he's only interested in others to the extent they can help him achieve his personal goals, getting richer. He isn't fit to be commander in chief, IMO.
