I disagree. That seems like the most obvious definition of faith. I think the word faith is not a blind trust in something based on belief, but rather a faith in oneself. I think(word is: I think) this is faith in oneself, after you have the understanding of right vs wrong, and trusting yourself.

That is just what I think faith is. It is not about blindly following Dogma. It is not about bickering about the conflict of evolution vs creationism. It is about getting past trivial things and doing the right thing, Just Basic stuff. OK now back to the porn! HAHA!

Ah but this brings up a question of how you could prove that a deity is causing these natural events or just the normal forces of physics(plate techtonics, gravitational attraction of the moon,etc.).This is never brought up in their prophecies. No doubt a deity could cause these events but is he causing the ones we are seeing today.

The world going about its growing pains in a natural event along with sentient beings at a point in their development that they realize the shit going on around them, as well as starting to realize the consequences of the things they have done. All of this must seem very disheartening to those that realize what has happened, and what needs too happen. Despite the greed to continue as if nothing is wrong is going on. To make life easy, for the here, the now.

I was watching the History Channel's "Brad Meltzers Decoded" the other night as they discussed the purpose of the mysterious Georgia Guidestones aka America's Stonehenge.

Within the show, some guy by the title Dr James Burton presents a map to the investigative crew which shows the "Safe Zones" after the upcoming apocalypse/quakes/earth change. All areas marked in green would be covered in water.

I would liked to have seen a post apocalyptic map of the world (if they actualy bothered with that) vs just the US.
