Did anyone watch tonight's football San Marino v England? A comprehensive rout 8-0 but the tannoy announcer-a woman strangely-got the names wrong so we had goals from Rooney Wayne, Sturridge Daniel, Oxlade-Chamberlian Alex and Lampard Frank...I think she needs to go and have a lie down.

Ha ha Noel Tidybeard lives up to his nickname then(as coined by Paul Whitehouse's Mike Smash character)

From Wiki: "Earth Hour is a worldwide event organized by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) and held towards the end of March annually, encouraging households and businesses to turn off their non-essential lights for one hour to raise awareness about the need to take action on climate change."

... because saying "Fu*k! I've just taken the skin off my shins by walking into the coffee table in the pitch fu*kin' dark" makes you more aware of global warming ... especially when there's a blizzard outside!

Good news though! You can watch it live on-line!

Hang on ... I can watch complete darkness for an hour ... live?

Meanwhile, I see that Friends Of The Earth recently organised a special banquet featuring "food inspired by the life and principles of Linda McCartney."

Shame someone had to go and spoil it all by pointing out that slaughtering a few cows to provide the fillet steaks probably didn't truly reflect Linda McCartney's principles!

This would be the perfect opportunity to load it up with random items and see then if wide load notices them when going through the checkout. Something subtle though - like tubs of lard...

Just looked outside at the howling blizzard.
A Winter wonderland two days after the first day of Spring
Looks like Global Warming is proceeding according to plan

Two brief questions, firstly could someone give me the details of the Cannonisation of St Linda, I can not find it anywhere, however hard I look.

Secondly was her vegetarian product line not taken from the shelves on several occasions, because of traces of animal fats?

At the end of the day, she was a rich kid, who married the biggest rock star, possibly ever, sang in his band, took some ok pictures, she was no Bailey or Lichfield and used her name on a vegetarian product line, all of which helped the McCartney clan to being amongst the richest in Britain, to which I say good luck and well done, the St Linda stuff I just don't get!
