Is Chris Cranston the last Playmate whose pubic region remains totally invisible to us? After her both Janice Pennington and Lieko English show muff generously while for Heather van Every there seem to be one or two very obscure views available. From Cathy Rowland onwards it seems that for every single Playmate there is at least one clear full frontal nude picture available.

Chris Cranston is one of my all-time favourite Playmates. She had a gorgeous body. I wish there are more pictures of her. I have not seen any pubic pictures with Janice Pennington--I think you may have confused Janice with her gorgeous younger sister, Ann, who has a fantastic open hairy pic in her 1976 Playmate issue. If you look very carefully in the January 1972, Chris is stepping out of a shower partially wrapped in a towel. There is a tantalising tuft of public hair if you look closely.

For Janice Pennington please have a look at the fourth and last pictures in the middle row at the link given below. I guess we can say Janice never exposed her full thatch in the same manner as her lovely sister Ann did but she did clearly show pubic hair.

About Chris Cranston, I think the picture you are referring to is the first one in the link given below. Yes there is the very slightest hint but I suppose not enough to say this lady exposed her pubic hair for us.

Our next interest could be finding out who was the last Playmate to never show us even the slightest hint of pubic hair.

To do that you need to discount all the P***mates from the last decade who are completely shaved. They may be showing their crotches, but there's no hair to be seen.

I would be willing to bet that in the PB photo archives there are plenty of pictures of the lovely Miss Cranston's beaver; and other playmates from the late 60's and early 70's. If they would start updating their cyber club with more photos from the 60's and 70's I would resubscribe in a minute.

Yeah, I remember when the newsstands had magazines like "Close Shave" and "Bald Beavers" in with the XXX and fetish stuff. I predict that in a year or so the playmates will be spreading their legs in the centerfold. Print magazines are dying.

I always think of the photographers, they got to see every bit of the playmates, even their rosebuds. Yes, there just has to be photos of playmates' most private regions from photo sessions. And un-airbrushed. Hef's private collection?

Chris Cranston was beautiful. Spent many happy hours enjoying her issue. I was 13 years old. I do enjoy the full frontal and even the shaved VAJJ, a cute, bouncy girl like Chris was pure heaven. Hope she had a nice life.

I just caught an old episode of Gene Rayburn's Match Game '77 and Chris Cranston was a contestant. Interesting that one of the panel celebrities was Dick Martin (Laugh In) and he was taking some good natured ribbing from the other celebs for showing interest in Miss Cranston. Also noteworthy because in 1971 Martin had married Dolly Read another PB centerfold, divorced her in 1974, then remarried her in 1978.

Cranston appeared quite tall, around 5'10. I'm not a fan of buck teeth. Didn't find her all that attractive. Sort of pretty, but not a knock out.
