Attention: There is a prevalent email scam happening everywhere where the sender claims to have a password to a site and demands money in some form. Ignore it, do not respond and at most change passwords on any sites you frequent.

Sincerest apologies to everyone for the recent blackout. VEF and several of our sister forums had a major server malfunction. The database index is being rebuilt from scratch and may take at least several days to be fully restored. Expect major weirdness and lots of glitches in the meantime. Thank you all for your patience and understanding.

Unfortunately it seems that all of the posts made from the 13th March until the crash are permanently lost, please feel free to re-post any such material, apologies for this.

For the following reasons:

These pictures take a lot of disk space, and the forum owners might not want to spend the money for the hard disks required to store them.
Load on the servers would increase significantly, and the forum is already rather slow sometimes.
VEF would become liable to copyright infringement lawsuits. You don't want it to shut down like some of the imagehosts, do you?
