Cash has a lot to do with download speeds for free users. Cash hosts throttle download speeds to get users to buy premium accounts in order to download. If those hosts allowed decent download speeds for free users, there would be no need for preferred or even required host rules.

Also ones who use cash hosts reduce DL speed manually for free users via own cash hosts accounts.

You're joking right? less than 30 minutes to get a file from 1fichier and 4 hours from file factory to get an alike file... yeah look the same to me

1Fichier is rocket-fast for free users if there are no problems. You can actually get 11 mbs on a free account. I know that because I've experienced it. A subscription -- €20-€30/year -- ensures your files will not be lost

FileFactory never comes close to that speed for free, but with 150 kbs it's still several times better than the slowest hosts that offer 5-50 kbs

Filefactory falls into that 45kb group now by the way which is why we removed it from the preferred host list.

It's the first who pop-up in my mind when I replied, but yeah there way worst than them. At least I will try if someone post a link from them, but no way I'd waste my time with something like upstore, rapidgator or some other weird ones.

This is partially true, but just to clarify re Classic Movies rules: If a movie is already posted but the original poster (OP) did not include any working links at a preferred host, then anyone may make a followup post with mirror links or an alternate version of the same film so long as their links are at a preferred host. But only one followup post with preferred links is allowed. If the original poster includes a set of mirrors at a preferred host, then any followup post that is not a quality upgrade, alt language and/or with additional footage, will be removed. Take a look at Classic Movies section rules for specifics.

To be clear, we normally do not allow dupes. But there are a few exceptions where we do allow dupes, e.g. when there are no preferred links posted yet, and when someone posts a quality upgrade, alt language or version with additional footage.
