Versus

Completely bonkers from start to finish. It starts out with two prisoners who have escaped and meet up with some loony tunes gangsters. It all goes wrong when a woman is introduced and one prisoner escapes into the local forest.

Cue lots of insane gun fights, sword fights and zombies! Yes, some zombies turn up (or rather come up from their graves). Lots of gore, too. It really is quite mad, but rather watchable.

Cold Souls (2008) - starring Paul Giamatti. It's mostly a funny movie, with just a little drama thrown in to give it realism. I recommend it!

Watching it now on anytime , and it`s third time lucky as after watching two dud comedies this one is actually damn funny. Helped in no small way by a fifteen minute piece at the very start where you actually get to grips with the leading characters and what they`re all about . Also helps that the actors in it look like they`re enjoying the silliness of the whole story , and why shouldn`t they

Bit of a sickly sweet ending some may say , but not me

Although trouble is i can`t get the theme song out of my head now

A very poor remake of the totally brilliant virtually flawless original . Yeah i know , big surprise this " New " version is so rotten . Yet i can name the biggest problem straight off. That being the dopey film makers deciding to make the main family member who`s to be in deadly peril throughout ,a tough looking muscular Jock , as opposed to the original which had a very likable girl who we as the audience really worried about

With this wannabe suspense horror like i say we have a bit of a bad ass annoying son , who we`re meant to be concerned about. Yet how can we since the supposed psycho he`s doing mental then eventually physical battle with is about as threatening as a used tea bag

Why they chose that bloke to play such a complex character i don`t know ?. As he portrays the main lead as a spoilt child rather than a deliberate conniving cold blooded killer

Actually and to be honest i would have changed channels thirty minutes ago as the films that bad

Yet for some reason one particular co-starring character keeps me from doing so

I just watched "Billy Liar", and loved it! in a campy sort of way. this is the 2nd
Tom Courtenay movie I've seen in a week. and you really can't go wrong
with Julie Christie! even in a minor role.
