1.Emmanuelle (1972) Sylvia Kristel and Marika Green Just Jaeckin

Classic softcore of the Emmannuelle series starring Dutch beautiful young Sylvia Kristel. Movie features quite a few lesbo encounters but top is the one with older but still stunninfg Marika Green. It’s short and sweet and very well done. Sylvia lying on top of Marika back has become an iconic image of 70’s erotic cinema.
Also of notice: the lesbian thryst between 2 Thai teen girls live on a stage, and Sylvia’s encounter with female partner during a squash game.

(incidently Marika Green is the aunt of Eva Green ("The Dreamers" and Bondgirl Casino Royale).

2. Emmanuelle 2 Laura Gemser and Catherine Rivet Francis Giacobetti (1975)

Laura Gemser in one of her first roles in this Emmanuelle big-budgeted sequel. Sylvia Kristel (as Emmanuelle) and husband decide to treat (underage) friend catherine Rivet to a massage session in this case a full-body massage Thai-style. Given the choice of girls, Rivet doesn’t hesitate to pick out Laura and she gets more then her money’s worth.
Also la Kristel goes all the way but the steamy Rivet/Gemser scene is the standout.

3. The Demons/ Nuns of Clichy Britt Nichols and Doris Thomas (1972) Jess Franco

Most of Franco’s numerous movies (some sites claim up to +150) have lesbo scenes and this is one of the best. Both very attractive women are decked out in these great medieval costumes. Britt is a former nun, planning to revenege her tortured sister, and Doris is the guilty inquisition agent. Britt offers her perfect butt which is lovingly accepted and results in a near hardcore cunnilingus. Pretty hot stuff for 1972 !





4. Emmanuelle and the last Cannibals Laura Gemser & Monika Zanchi Joe d’Amato (1977)


Very very un-PC and considered one of the sleaziest movies ever made (and ofcourse now a big hit on several download sites).
Almost every ‘cannibal’ movie cliché is included but it is somehow well-made (apparently shot on location in the Amazonian rainforest) and crammed with sex and gore scenes, but I am ofcourse chiefly interested in the sex.
Best is the lesbian scene (nicely shot besides a waterfall) between Laura and teen Monika Zanchi bathing in a lake near a waterfall, fully nude and starting to masturbate each other. Gorgeous women !
Also of notice : prior to this scene Monika masturbating to a frenzy when witnessing Laura and hubby Gabriele Tinti (who else ?) having it off.

Oh yeah : Monika also gets mass raped by that merry band of cannibals, but luckily has a narrow espace thanks to Laura, in the end. Everybody always fully nude ofcourse.





5. Sister Emmanuelle Monika Zanchi-Laura Gemser-Dirce Funari Guiseppe Vari (1978)

Yes, Laura again teaming up with teenie hottie Monika.

Laura, in repentence for all her sins, has become a nun at a young girls boarding school (it is as crazy as it sounds).
Monika is a very naughty girl as she wants to have sex with about everyone she meets which includes her stepmom, this being the standout scene. Both women fully naked on the bed , rather lengthy scene.
Later Laura and Monika also start a lesbo session, but only to be interrupted by , you guessed it, Gabriele Tinti (Laura’s real-life hubby). Damn.

By the way, Dirce Funari, the aunt, would also “take on” Laura Gemser in Erotic Island of the Living Dead. Keeping it in the family, so to speak.

6. Patricia (1980) Hubert Frank Anne Parillaud-Brigitte Stein

Stars future ‘La femme Nikita’ Anne Parillaud, still in her teens and looking so radiant and healthy it is almost unnatural. Typical German ‘holidayfilm’ of the eighties, it is pretty wellmade, rather big-budgeted and crammed with nude scenes of ultra gorgeous Anne. Top is ofcourse a very intense lovemaking scene with her equally beautiful teenage niece ( !). A bit softfocus but guaranteed repeat viewing.
Also has a great french kiss between the girls during a tennismatch is worth a second view.

7. Il Piacere Laura Gemser & Lili Carati (1983) Joe d’Amato

Laura Gemser, the queen of softcore lesbo scenes. Carati and hubby are regular customers of a Laura’s opiumkit. As the mistress of the house Laura decides to treat (only) Mrs. Carati to a special favour, namely herself. Great scene, both very beautiful women fully starkers as they really go for it with Laura on top giving it all (Also a similar scene between them in L’Alcova).
Lili Carati, one of best looking Italian starlets ever went on to do some hardcore by the end of the 80’s.


8 Girls meets Girl/Confessions of a sweet sixteen Maria Forsa and several female partners (1974) Joseph M. Sarno

A complete movie again, crammed with lesbo scenes (and a few heterosexual ones) but super beautiful Maria mainly takes on the women : her aunt , her aunt's friends and aquiantances. Very different from so-called other initation movies where a (very) young girl is introduced by several male partners in joys of sex it is mainly the other way round here. Beautiful Maria takes the initiative, first to the great surprise of everyone, but then they ofcourse go for her all the way. Rare movie, as almost every scene features Maria and this becomes a softcore movie that deserves a full download....
(Rumour has it also that Ms. Forsa was still ‘underage’ when she made this one).

9 Amuck (1972) Barbara Bouchet & Rosalba Neri

Typical Italain Gallio with Barbara Bouchet, undoubtedly among the greatest lookers of italian cinema in 70-80s her top days, is seduced by an older women. No kissy-kissy but completely stark naked no-nonsense scene, pretty daring for 1972 flick. Extra scene with BB again, nude showering with other girl.

10. Je,tu,il,Elle Chantal Akerman Claire Wauthion Chantal Akerman 1983

Rather obscure French/Belgian art-movie, shot in black-and-white, on the quest of a bisexual woman looking for love (Akerman herself).
Miss Akerman is average looking but her girlfriend is a beautiful longlegged brunette
The last scene comes as quite a surprise as it is a long near-hardcore lesbo session with the beautifull Claire Wauthion. Both women are completely nude rolling, kissing, caressing on very large bed.
Not easy to find but Amazon offers a 2-box DVD (also with some serious lesbo) "Les Rendez-Vous d'Anna".

11. Bilitis (1977) Patti d’Arbanville and Catherine Leprince (David Hamilton)

Very politically incorrect these days, but ofcourse I had to have this one in the list. Almost one-of-kind softfocus on (very) young girls in boarding schools.
There is the well-known scene (even featured on the cover of the soundtrack LP of the day) with Patti and Mona Kirstensen, her aunt in the movie.
But somehow I found that scene rather tepid as they’re both not really into it and Kirstensen always seems at the point of fainting from a bad case of Anorexia.

No, I prefer the scene with girlfriend Catherine Leprince. Patti is half a sleep and Catherine just wants to do it before they leave for the holidays. She quiclky undresses and hops into bed with Patti, who doesn’t really mind. Nice !




12. "Beneath the Valley of the Ultravixens"(1979) [/B]Kitten Natividad and Sharon Hill (Russ Meyer). Everything in this scene is a mix of smart editing and soundbites. In your typical Meyer slapstick style two major senes are intercut : the crazy antics of a gay dentist trying to seduce Kitten's sullen husband switching between Kitten and the dentists female assistant. Both women look great, with big breasts ofcourse (this is a Russ Meyer movie afterall) but all is edited for maximum impact, the slapstick and the unabashed enthusiasm of the women while the guys have somesort of a fight, make this a winner.




13. "Joy and Joan" (1985). Brigitte Lahaye and Isabel Otero. Big blonde Brigitte Lahaye was one of France's bestknown hardporn actress of the 70's and 80's but beautiful enough to appear in lots of softcore. This is one of her best, a near hardcore encounter with the love of her life, Brasilian stunner Isabel Otero. It is during a night train ride they slip off the some deserted cargowagon whetre they then ensue in a lengthy sappho session. This is pretty hot stuff so watch out again for censored versions that seriously shortened this scene. Opt for the full French-language (VHS/DVD/RS) version which seems to be the completest.

14. "The Erotic theatres of Paris" (1975) (Robert de Nesle) Claudine Becarrie with various female partners This is more some kind of travelogue of Erotic Cabarets in Paris during the Seventies but focus seems to be on Mme Becarrie's performances , mainly with women. Ms Beccarrie, who also had a career in hardcore, is a tall brunete with an avarage face but has an absolute killer bod and has it off with several female partners. This is also filmed on a stage before a "live audience" attending which somehow makes it even more erotic.
Very rare and difficult to find as it is, to my knowledge, only available on VHS (PAL/SECAM versions).
Director Robert de Nesle also produced Jess Franco’s Les Demons (see above) so he knows a thing or two on a good lesbo scene !

15. "The Amazons" (1973). Sabine Sun and Alena Johnston. Lesser known peplum directed by none other then Terence Young (a number of Bondmovies as Dr. No and Thunderball ) He must have been between 2 serious directing jobs because this is almost an all-girl softcore feature. Crammed with lots of nudity and lesbo love, the best scene is the all-nude fight between the leader of the Amazons and her rival, culminating ofcourse in a serious lesbian love thryst. Long scene is very well filmed and women are statuesque and very attractive. Director Young must have had a field day with this movie and in particular with this scene, 'cause he married Sabine Sun afterwards. Congratulations, Terence !

Vanessa is also a classic of this genre.

A couple of great lesbian scenes featuring the gorgeous Olivia Pascal as she leaves school to travel to Hong Kong to claim an inheritance.
There is one great scene in which she is punished in a convent school by a very enthusiastic nun, while a teacher watches on in ecstacy.
In another the title character is in her dormitory bed while two other girls make love. Vanessa only listens but we see another girl pleasure herself while listening to the young lovers in the nearby bed.
Eventually Vanessa herself succumbs to the feminine wiles of a friend she has made in hong Kong!

Olvia's magnificent puffy nipples are worth admission price alone.
